To lift the ban you have to submit a ban appeal which niantic barely goes over. If you have hacked and their system has proven it you'll receive an email to confirm your account termination. If you haven't recieved an email afters few days, you probably have a hard ban which lasts for a few days to weeks or they are reviewing your account. Which is unlikely. So if I were u I would send an appeal but wouldn't be surprised if they sent a termination email. (IF YOU HACKED)

I got a funny fact about this ban.. Its not really funny but its suspicious lol so i got these & 3 friends we are all from germany but my friends went on a vacation one of them in poland and the other two went to turky so while me and some other friends in germany received "failed data" the ones in vacation where still able to login days after we received the bann.. All i could do was to hope theyll get the bann too hahha
So when they went back to germany they got banned too i dunno how this is possible maybe someone of you guys got an idea lol

Apparently if you don't receive an email confirming your account has been terminated, your account is only on a hard ban(account locked, failed to get game data from server). Usually lasts for a week.

What's the source or is there any confirmation on this from anyone? It actually seems pretty silly to not perma ban you if they already know you are botting. I can't see any possible benefit for Niantic. Maybe they just couldn't be bothered to send the email?

What about people had the game data error and recieved the mail later, they're hard banned and terminated?

Ticket still open, still no terminated email.. But still the get server data error.. If I try to snipe with banned account:

Received an error while running.
Message: Expected 5 responses, but got 1 responses
- Please confirm that the PokemonGo servers are online before using PokeSniper2.

- If the servers are up, just try again.

1 response haha, don't know what the other 4 are. Maybe the ban is rolled out to people who are level 23+ with rare pokemon on max cp etc? Maybe they just used a filter..

I believe bans are reviewed on your location and the amount of pokedex you've filled up, I have 3 accounts. My wife, my son and my own. both my wife and I are lvl 24 but my son which I sniped NOT botted, only sniped, he was hyped about getting mr Mime and Farfetch, So I did it for him, He was banned yesterday with Perma Ban, Game data no being available.

My own and my wife account are ok, we have sniped and botted at 10km/hr but 90% of our progress has been real driving around gameplay, we live in a rural area so I'm forced to NOX to Sydney to get pokeballs and a few pidgeys, but I ignore all regional pokemon.

So far.. NO BAN!!..
