I wonder if the escape rate "bug" that appeared a few updates ago was actually a trap to catch botters? They could've possibly flagged all accounts that had a success rate significantly over the average.

*I'm pretty sure that is a lot more to add to this. Something like i keep open and close to program several times so it keep asking for the API or whatever that is.

After reading all pages and collect info from different forums I can say that the perm ban (error in login screen)

has to do with a combination of following factors:

-Account got a softban before?
-IP range and your current player position shouldnt be in a big difference (like your ip is from UK and you bot in USA your acc is flagged)
-Movement speed should not be higher then walking/jogging - ignoring the info that youre a co-driver maybe flags your account too, because its not a problem to play pokemon while driving but a problem ignoring the message because as normal player you couldnt do more action when you not confirm the message
-Online time - it could be a factor when the bot runs for 10+ hours, human like would be 3-4 hours and then a break when youre extreme
-Using Pokesniper can be a factor but not sure yet
-Using a fixed amount of Pokestops / catching Pokemon within 24 hours which is not human like.

After considering a lot of reports about bans I can say that the IP range is the most striking point in this ban issue.When your IP is in city a and your character comes to city b which is KMs away from your normal position your acc is flagged. In combination with other points the accounts get banned.

i just lowered speed to 15km/h and max travel distance to 2000 meter sice my town is small so no need to travel furtuhurer.
9 hours of botting no softban.

As I said it must be a combination of 1-3 facts.

How many people play pokemon and travel worldwide from country to another? I think its under 1%. It is not important how it works but as I read from many reports the IP distance has a role! So if your phone Ip is in UK and youre in USA your account is flagged. In combination with other facts your acc get banned.

100% agree. Soon or later your bot account will be banned. 12 of my account completely stop boting 1 week ago, now niantic lock down 8 of it, ONE BY ONE in few hours interval. I may lost all of them, but i think they miss my level 40 account that still standing strong. Not that bad if they forgive my favorite account. Lol
