Yeah lets hope for the best. I've had that data error before though but not being able to see pokemons or pokestops so that got me a little bit worried. Oh and I've been spoofing pretty hard with emulator. My best guess is that it's some kind of a technical issue since the google/ptc/login services has been under huge stress today.

got 3 softbans last night started around midnight eu time but np as its easy to soft un-ban , wen't down for a smoke/snack few hours later got iP banned , wen't to sleep , in the morning solved it by resetting internet (was quite scary tho you will not be able to do anything on your phone not even youtube,browser,playstore,hearthstone(lol)) now all is working but sadly the screen saying failed to get game data from the server remains.. i did not recieve a mail from niantic noir did i get the screen that im banned so i guess im safe for now thing that i find strange is that i hear reports of people that never bottet with the same problem and i have friends that are acctually still playing right now... this problem seems to be a weird one... or they are simply gathering all bottet accounts in 1 big wave but then again thats half the player base poef !

One of my bot got the "no pokestop" ban. Waited 5 hours and tried again, but still not unbanned yet.

Not sure what triggered the ban, my other accounts are still fine.

Is anyone actually going to make a legit account and play clean if banned?

Because I'm for sure not going to. I played clean all the way to level 24 and still mostly clean after, but that was when I got totally fed up of hunting for several days in a row, walking easily over 25,000 steps per day not being able to find high IV pokemon but seeing people on YouTube, who don't even know what they are doing, hatching Perfect Chamanders and catching Perfect Dratini while I sit there with ~250k stardust saved up since day 1 and no high IV pokemon to invest it in. Before sniping, I even did something that I never do and that was pay. I bought incubators after hearing about egg pokemon having a higher chance of getting better IVs and I still got nothing but ****.

No way am I going through that again. I think the game will be near-enough dead in a few months anyway.

Same here tbh. I live in a pretty rural area so would have to travel a lot by car or public transport just to have a shot at catching pokemon like Charmander. My area is just pidgeys, rattatas, weedles and caterpies and the occasional shellder and drowzee. I'm eager to see other functions to be added such as trading and battling with friends but for now this game is really boring for me.

I'm with you. I was playing by myself for a long time and reached 25 if not mistaken alone but got fed up at some point a little before that because it was not the same. The fact that we had the started tree step glitched and then removed and everything... Started losing a bit of interesting for me. And I stopped playing for a couple of days til someone on Twitter told me that was this thing pretty cool actually called Nox and told me about Pokevision and I created another account and started playing for the beggining with that one and had a lot of fun.

Then from time to time I would hunt some pokemons for my main account but never used a bot before. Started using a couple of days ago and tested for a little while in my main account, everything was fine and I got from 25 to 33 in like 3 days with "human settings" and a lot of big pauses in the middle. The ones I let run the most are like 26, 27 yet.

I'm sure as hell I'm not gonna start this shit from the beggining again if I get banned. In fact, I liked that account so bad because it was my main account, that's all. Most of the medals I already won by doing everything walking hours and hours and playing nonstop with friends. It's just not the same but it was fun at first though.

this morning my main account had "softban" unable to spin pokestops but everything other worked...now that account gets "failed to get game data"...i gues im perma banned

Same. That's mostly why I let the bot running but should've tried with another account besides my main one though but oh well. What is done is done. Hope to see the new features eventually sometime in the future but then again, if I get my main account banned either deserved or not, I'm not playing this again. Not out of hate or anything just lost the interest for me and what kept me still playing from time to time and hunting pokemons with coordinates in Nox was actually my main character. What can I say, I got a little attached hahaha

But yeah I'm with you guys. I'm gonna have an account to check out new features in the future out of curiosity but the game is most certainly a little dead now. It was pretty goddamn fun the first weeks but meh. You know? I spent a lot of money on transportation, going around to big cities and everything, well at least I got to play around with a lot of people and meet a lot of nice people too. It was really fun.

Hahaha I'm saying my goodbyes like starting to accept this shit may be true. 2% of hope that servers had a lot to drink last night and they're just ****ed up the intire day today with random weird shit going on. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

So for my selftest I started a new PTG Account 7 hours ago (My 2 others Lvl33 are save...so no need to do this) It is only for the expierience..... with 5km\h (Thats the spped I used on my 2 other accounts the last 3 weeks) walking speed.... It runs anyway.. No Proxy no VPN.... Only lookup where my IP ended... so it was assigned to cologne....I decided to farm in cologne......I let it run the whole night to look up for a ban or something else.... I get 32K XP /h....... If it work the next days I would let you know.....

I didn't have time to review 70 pages, but jfyi...
I logged onto 5 accounts on my phone, 4 of 5 were fine. The one that is banned logged in but every pokestop says "Try again later."

So, it appears it's not an IP or device ban, but an account ban. Yea I know, deduction skills level 9999...anyways like I said, JFYI.

I got news. My account had catch flee problem in the morning, after 12 hours while i still log in just fine now i got the "Failed to get game data from the server." Very strange...
