So, just to clear everything out. People who have the "failed to get game data" screen is now banned for good? Cuz 1 hour ago i wasn't able to get pokemons or loot pokestops, but i still could log in on my account and see everything, gyms and pokestops. But now the screen showed up. And i didn't got any e-mail saying anything about my possible ban. So, is it the end of the account or it might come back after 15h or so? Anyone got their account back from this screen?

It's funny how there has been no official word from Niantic (except an appeals page).

Could that possibly be because they know legit players, are unaffected by this? lol!

Niantic is trolling us soo hard right now. It's actually pretty funny.
Like how they randomly added the Ban Appeals page with no notice.

I personally think you shouldn't be sending an appeal, since you are clearly botting and since they have all the data that shows you were using a bot. I feel like the real reason they put it up is to bait people into sending an appeal so that they can flag the account lol. Yes, I have trust issues.

Lmao people really just throwing it out their "IM BANNED"... Nobody knows if its an actual ban till now its UNCONFIRMED no email has been sent to everyone by Niantic. If you guys would leave this website for ones and go on social media you can see legit players complaining about this.

From what I gather, it is highly probably you are permanently banned, although there isn't any confirmation yet, no one knows 100%. I have the same problem (the "failed to get game data" error) when I try log in on my phone, but I can log in on Nox fine.

Has anyone else gotten the "failed to get game data" error and then logged back on (phone) after a certain amount of time?

Yes. No anti-cheat system is perfect. Any parameter they may set to detect a cheater will produce false positives. That's why the form exists. Why would they give 2 craps about un-banning a true cheater? If this perma-ban really is true, I have hope that they don't have enough proof to keep you banned. *crossing fingers...

Someone claimed that they logged into their account from an android phone instead of their usual iphone and it worked. But then again, they are probably trolling.

Not yet... Just someone who said he actually got his account back after waiting 12 hours but well we don't know for sure and probably trolling to kid with all of us. Too much emotions going on right now

i got the error to in the morning and the flee catch stuff ..

now i can play again

so just wait some days .. and to not waste time make new accounts and start botting

if they are lost for good and we know it tomorrow than you have a lvl 30 till than again ..

EDIT:guys its not that you cant bot your way up again .. why are you all so sad about a possible ban for a account that you most likely only played for some arena bashing ?

so who rly cares ^^ ?

Dude, at this point I just read, get scared, cry a little, drink, flip the table and try not to believe in everything til there's an official post about this stuff. Idk if there's something like an 24h ban or anything but well I guess I'll have to wait, right? The server thing was messed up because servers are ok and I can't still log in and been here since 7am. Meh. Starting to accept haha anyway, we'll see
