So just for peoples information, I have 2 accounts, one botted and one legit. The botted one can log in fine but I cannot catch any pokemon (they flee on first pokeball). The legit account can login fine and catch fine. I am hoping the botted account is just a soft ban but will keep you all informed.

All 3 of my accounts are working fine and can catch pokemon. Have not botted on any of them last 24h

Here's my theory. The servers went down 10-11 hours ago, and any account that was online at that time is currently locked. Almost as if a few servers shut down, along with all the accounts on those servers.

That theory is about as useful as sand in a desert.

i use my bots right now (necrobot 8.6)

even got some new ons , use them all on humenlike settings

no problems

btw can use my 2 with the catch flee now again !

its def a pokemon go thing

oh and i live in germany .. bots are in central park

It is definitely a Perma-Ban.. How do I know this?
Well, Think about it would you tell players "you have been permanently banned" on your first ban wave?
the answer is no - the whole idea of a "ban wave" is to get as many people as possible without them notifying each other

I hope he's right... I'm still worried because 1 was botting through VPN and one my home internet at the same time, same settings, same location. VPN still logging in fine, home internet one receiving the issue... Not sure how his DDOS explanation explains that.

It could literally be anything. It is strange because my accounts were created using the same IP, now that same IP has 4 'failed to receive game data" errors. (Those 4 accounts were all logged in at the time of the original issue occuring 10 hours ago.) I've not been able to login to these accounts since. 1 additional account is currently flee-banned (spoofed in china).

I was using my acc on my phone not a bot when the supposed ban wave hit. the game gave me a "Network Error" in red like it gives when you lose a GPS connection. when I restarted the game I got the "could not retrieve game data from server" stuff. so my guess is its either a Ban type thing or its just like the people are saying and the acc that were online at the time of the crash are locked out..
PS my botted acc works just fine.
