Happened to my main account never cheated on it or even spoofed. Was lvling a gym next thing I know I get some network error and close to game reopen and get that same error.

Hey man, same thing happened to me just now, I levelled up a gym placed one of my pokemons to defend it, left the app on background for a few minutes then once i clicked the gym it said "network error" i reset it then i saw the greatest fear pokemon go trainers are afraid of. Its devastating, I earned every single xp and pokemons I have on that account now its all gone.

I'm not sure if this means anything, but when I am connected to a VPN I can't access certain servers via Bots. Yet when I turn them off suddenly I can. Not really a coder just thought that may mean something.

Go read my case dumbass. There was nothing there to show it wasn't human except for one 8 hour marathon. Stayed in my local area, started 90% of the time from my own house. Other 10% started downtown with over two hours between times. Never caught more than 100, never spun more pokestops than 200, never sniped (didn't even know you could actually), kept speed under 7km.

So, tell me oh great genius, where exactly did I fail that you somehow have proven to be all knowing and avoided?

My ex-wife got the same error now. She's a legit user, wouldn't know a bot if I bought her a computer and installed it for her. However, my children (on their weeks with her) and her wife are all on the same router, so I have a feeling they are all going to be banned before the week is out if that is what this is.

It's perfect human bot, but did you use fresh ip? Or did you login from previous banned device? I think IP & device ban is real.

He was probably just trolling, If my account got banned (never cheated) there is a much higher possibility that accounts using bots would get the same treatment whether they're playing smart/careful. If he's really saying the truth he just get lucky that all his accounts are still working.

I get the "Failed to get game data from the server" error, i havnt botted for over 2 weeks, been playing legit since i hit lvl 27. I hope this is not a perm ban it dosnt say that im banned tho. but i've been getting this message since yesterday

It's actually my legit account and was about a week ago. I just needed pokeballs and only have two convenient pokestops near me. So I needed a way to get downtown while I was stuck at home. Set everything up in a way that wouldn't look odd and let it go. Using Pokebuddy. Tried to keep it in small bursts, but forgot about it when I went to bed one night. Didn't let the app transfer or evolve. Couldn't control the accuracy of the program though. The only thing I didn't use was the elevation setting.

Also, only account, only device. (But there are two other people using pokemon go legit on my home wifi with no bans yet.) Can't say the same at my ex-wifes house and they were all playing straight up legit.

i have been confirmed banned after email to them why i get message failed to get game data from the server
