A new +rep button

I think the main reason why many don't rep is because they do not know how or do not know that it is considered nice to rep someone if they help you. There's the handbook, but not many actually read all of it, I think most of the rep "problems" (I don't really see any) would go away if you changed the rep star to a +Rep button. Another way would be having a dialog or some text on in the area of the reply box, right above the text edit tools for example, that says something along the lines of "Remember to add reputation to helpful posts." or something like that.

Perhaps you could try to do something similar to the Ownedcore theme's rep button (a star with REP next to it), since a star is more attention grabbing than +

Maybe a gif with a small sparkle or wave to it would be a good idea, just as long as it doesn't draw too much attention.

I like that Narudan but seems pointless having it animated. People know how to rep on here and if they see +rep then im sure it wouldnt make much of a difference if its animated or not :s

That looks really nice, maybe a slower pulse and bigger overall size though.
