I originally sent this message to one of the OwnedCore Elite. But I just saw this section and thought I would post it in here. Here it goes...
New member and donator here at OwnedCore. I gotta say I love the site and the community is great so far. I know its not my place to make suggestions to the website, but I feel for the community to benefit the most I need to say 1 thing.
I have noticed that the forums for OwnedCore are readable to the public without making an account. Guests without an account can google search exploits and they will show up in google and they can click them and view them right away. I'm not sure what your site "blueprint/ideology" is, if this was intended then by all means please disregard this message and I am sorry. But if you would like to keep all discussion and exploits "private" from google, unregistered guests, the public, and most importantly for WoW exploits at least...BLIZZARD, then I would highly recommend making the forums "register-to-see"/"create-user-to-view".
Not all threads/topics/forums need to be like this, I would only suggest maybe the exploits/guides/etc to be hidden from the public. General things could stay the way they are.
By doing so, you will entice guests to create accounts to view the content and by doing this, you may get more donations and community activity. The "good-stuff" so-to-speak will be only viewable by registered members, and thus by doing this you will prolong any exploits/guides found.
One other suggestion I had, it may not apply to you specifically; may apply to the OP's of exploits in the forums. The OP's a lot of times, a good example most recently with the WoW invisibility exploit, posted a youtube video and channel of the exploit. This youtube video had a detailed video title of the hack, a detailed description, and was public. Within 2 days of the video posting on Youtube, The GM's of blizzard have found out about the bug, Threads on the official forum of QQ"ing alliance have started, and temp bans and warnings have started.
A suggestion for the creaters of the Youtube Videos would be to:
1.) keep the video title named "Untitled"
2.) Have no description as both this and the title come up in google search results and youtube search results
3.) maybe make the video private with password or whatever and share that password on the forum for "registered users" to see.
4.) provide the description within the forum and not the youtube video. This way even if someone does happen to find the video, they will not have a description to accompany the video.
This will most definitely prolong the exploit and keep it out of the publics eyes.
Well...there are my 2 suggestions that I would LOVE to see happen. But again, I'm just a donator/member with no influence what-so-ever and have written this with no expectations. Keep up the good work, great site! If you need any help with any of this, let me know. Webmaster/Webdesigner with many years experience.
