Xbox 360, PS3, Wii make your choice

i have played the 360 i really like it it's a nice orginized system( i really like the Geometry wars game FTW!!!) i have tried out the PS3 and i thought it was okay but not worth 599$ mabey 300$-350$, now the Wii is the one i want( getting it soon ) now out of the two(PS3 doesn't count it sucks too much) i would rather play the Wii cause of the activity involved but then i would like to occationally play the 360 but i really want the Wii

I have had a 360 for a while now, and it's the only next-gen system that I own. But over time, I have stopped playing the 360 and I use my PC more. I use my 360 to watch DVDs for the most part now... I haven't seen any games out that look really good to me =/

A PS3 is just way to expensive. There have been price drops for the PS3's, but still. $500 USD is a lot of money, especially for a game console. At that price, I'd rather go buy new components for my computer.

The Wii looks awesome. It's Nintendo, so I can expect that some good games will come its way. I am sure that I would tire of it after a while, as it seems to be a system meant to be used with multiple people. If I had a few friends over, I'd rather have a Wii over anything. Those games are just fun as hell.

My 360 had its share of playtime. I spent lots of time playing on it, but without any games that I really wanted to play, I lost interest. I got Gears of War and Call of Duty 3 for it, I don't even remember how long ago. I played them for a little bit, found something else that interested me, and I haven't played them since. I'm hoping that new games will come out for the 360 soon so I will want to play it. But for the time being, all the games I want to play are on PC.

Now I want to play Pokemon on Gameboy....

im building a new pc with intel core 2 duo extreme x6800 and a bfg 8800 gtx 768mb gfx card so i think that will blow everything out of the water. I have an xbox 360 but had nothing but problems with it. Keeps breaking all the time.. Has alot of games is the only upside

i dont have any of the new systems but I'm about to make an educated purchase since my friends collectively have all the systems and I've had the chance to try all of them out..

the wii is okay for its multiplayer titles..(im not a zelda or mario fan anymore.. mario party on occasion.. it got played out on the 64 for me) kinda childish releases out for it with the exception of the resident evil titles that will be released and possibly gta 4.

the 360 has excellent games on it and the controller isn't too hard to use.
it's cons are.. that microsoft admitted that all the systems except for the xbox 360 elite are DEFECTIVE. but no need to worry.. all of your warranties are now 3 years instead of 1. the difference is the 360 elite has a heatsink and the others do not.. if you can keep your system cool your likely to never experience any problems with it.

the ps3 hasn't proven its hefty price tag to me yet... microsoft will be getting all the games and correcting the mistakes they made with the original xbox when it was played up against the ps2..


I'm more than likely going to be purchasing a 360 w/ a live subscription.. I know the ps3 has free internet gameplay but the network sucks.. and the game titles out there don't compare with what is already available for the 360.

as for PC's they will always pwn all.. all the parts being interchangeable and customization being virtually unlimited as new technologies come out.

xbox360.. way easier to chat with ppl has ight games i also have a ps3 just sitting there rusting cause none of the good games have came out yet imo resistance fall of man suckkkssssss garbage but yea killzone will be pretty tight on ps3 but for know /agree also 360 pwns ps3

this is why the xbox360 pwnz the ps3, and the user above has no knowledge about xbox360 at all.

-does not have errors with the laser
- you can connect it to mediacenter
- you can use all of the internet, surf around whatever you want. yes mr you can look youtube.
- devilmary cry 4, resident evil 5, and finalfantasy are going to be released for xbox360 too.
- the Live network, is simply the best there is.
- in addition to PS3 , the xbox360 does have his own titles. nearly all and i mean ALL ps3 titels are being released on xbox360 too. but xbox got his own, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Dead or Alive 5, oh and btw Ninja Gaiden.
- The PS3 gets an update on ninja gaiden ( xbox version ) named sigma. cool but we just get Ninja Gaiden 2
- The PS3 looks like a solarbench
- The xbox360 is a computer, and yes you can use linux on it. gg
- The price of the 360 is alot cheaper.
- and hey X buys every game they want, who got the Cash Mr gates or sony?

Nooo, the 360 looks very different. I think that one who plays it a lot sees this. As I don't play any Playstation consoles, they all look the same to me. The PS3 just seems fatter and quite frankly, uglier than its predecessor. But all game systems are great in their own rights

-BLue Ray CD's allow PS3 CD's to hold more data

-Free PS3 live (whatever its called)
-Linux is easy to install
-PSP suport over WIFI

PS3 Downs:
-Not as many exclusives
-Not many titles out on it
-Price is high but droped to 500$ for expensive 1 and 00$ for cheap 1
-CD player rarely has problem


X-Box 360 Ups:
-Lots of games
-X-Box live is huge
-More exclusives
-most comuter games come out on X6-Box
-Cheaper than PS3
-More online games

X-Box 360 downs
-XBox live costs monney
-Hard to put linux on it
-They will stop making games for it when the next X-Box comes out
-No blue ray suport just the standard HD DVD
-Only 780P HD
-Over heats
-you have to buy an intercooler to prevent over heats
-No WIFI suport
-No portable system suport
-Not as powerfull as the PS3

WII!!! <3 i love it. Did get a lil old buuuttt...i havent bought any games for it xept Zelda... so yea its pimpin. I love the way u can play the old games on it. Ive got a shitload of gamcube games i still play, i actually convinced myself to mod my Gamecube to do other stuff than games (lol gamecube now is a 170 gig external hard drive ) soo yea i love the Wii. My next choice would be 360, which i think im gunna get my bro to buy one with his work money. Ps3 is deffenitly like the "best" system. But its horrible in the way of whats for it. waay exspensive and everything for it is expensive.

P.c= pwns all no way around it. (specially after u learn to use a WiiMote for wow :P )

PS3 - PS3 has to many Features, built in Wifi, About 50% or buyers wont need it. Bluray, Not many people will need it now so its a Waste. with the 360 a HD box comes Seperate. i found while playing the PS3 the Games where not fun and Enjoyable like they are when i play 360.
