Resident evil 5 co-op mode is incredible. If you got a good friend or so to play with, it's highly recommended.

Prototype is kinda alright, not a good story though. Gfx are bad etc.

Killzone 2- The story is iffy, but its the multiplayer that is really worth your time. And the graphics are incredible.
Little Big Planet- awesome multiplayer. Great level design creator. Fantastic community of user generated content. This is easily my favorite PS3 game.
Resident Evil 5- Great story. amazing graphics. The only bad thing is how quickly you will beat it. But make sure you play this game with a friend, your partners AI is terrible.
Dark Sector- A sorely overlooked game. I was surprised at how good this game was. You should be able to pick it up for less than 20.

those should keep you busy for a while. I'll try to think of some more.
