Well I just started on the beta of Warhammer and it doesn't really compare to WoW atm but I guess the same can be said for when you make a new character in Warcraft - aside from Death Knight, because DK is ****ing amazing.

DK is OP. Gonna ruin gameplay imo.
Prolly gonna get nerfed 1st patch.

Warhammer also has siege engines and that such, but it is MUCH more in-depth and alot more common use... hell you get to use them in the starting zones!

I think its just a matter of what you like.

If ur looking for a very PvP based game..warhammer could be the right.
The WAR PvP-System is great i think

Warhammer all the way, I've gotten a hunter and paladin to 80 in the WotLK beta, same boring grinds. I'll admit, the quests were a bit funner, still the same old WoW with new content. Blizzard honestly needs something really innovating/unique/New or alot of players are going to lose interest. I haven't gotten a chance to play WAR but from what I have seen/heard, it's looking to be a Very nice game.
It's all a matter of opinion, though.

Warhammer. I'm playing open beta atm, it's a lot of fun. It's nice not knowing every
single detail of the game, every ability etc. The graphics are better and there's some
really nice stuff, like public quests for example. Just a shame that the dwarves are so
damn fat, they've got my favorite class but they're just too damn ugly to play

Warhammer needs some things worked out before It will be ready to compete with WOW imo.
