Well, may sound crazy :P

Recently I was contacted by a representative of a gold selling / powerleveling site offering to hire my account..

I thought I'd give it a shot.. turns out they're now paying me $25/day for my two 70s on different accounts...

It's awesome to say the least, and I was going to quit WoW anyway to focus on school... Now I can do that, and get paid as much as I do working about 8-9 hours a week down at McDonalds :P

Lol this looks suss as... Completely putting yourself out there to get your accy stolen. If this is a scam its so low to advertise on a site like this.

yeah, i'd definitely recommend only doing this with an account that you don't care about..

well i've got all my info, i figure i can just take it back if ever i need it.. they don't ask for sq/a or any details other than user/pass

I hope this isn't considered a flame, because it isn't intended to be, but lets apply a little logic to this. If they are a powerleveling site, why would they need your level 70 when they can make one in roughly 6 days. Secondly, why would they pay you $25/Day for an account to "rent" when it would cost them $15/month for their own. This seems like it would be a really poor investment on their end. Unless they are bad at hiding what they do and get their accounts banned quickly and this is a cheaper investment then starting new accounts and paying for new keys. Maybe it's just me but this seems like it has scam written all over it. As do most things that offer u money for doing absolutely nothing.

I thought about this regarding a similar site, then I noticed that site sold 1000g for $70. If they can farm a few thousand g a day then they make profit

I'm not saying they wouldn't still make a profit, I'm just saying it seems like an unecessary cut into their profit margin, but I digress. If it works, more power to them and you. I'm just reasserting the old saying, if something looks to good to be true, it probably is.

I just honestly can't believe that an account would go for 175 a week when you can buy an epic'd out account for $300-$600 now days.

how did they try to scam you, and how did you get your account back?
