Router

hello ppl. there is a router in front of me (lol), and i need to open some ports (for css ), but my father asked the computer guy (dunno how is it english ^!^) to put a password. is there any way to get past that password? because i'm soooo sick of that lag :/

I don't want to reset it, because there is something like internet tv (some shit is connected to tv, something simmilar to cable tv, just goes through router).

EDIT: my pc is connected to the router with cable btw (parents' pc with wireless)

Maybe its a standart password? Try 0000 oder 1234 or google "RouterName Default Password" or stuff... if not, you got bad chances... Maybe google for "Routername Bruteforce" (to find a hacking program) but the chances are big you just get a virus then.

i tried standard password before, i'm not that stupid default is blank lol i don't want to mess with unknown programs, because don't want to f*ck up my pc and router

try blank username and admin as pass or blank pass and admin as name that is sometimes default too.

try admin as teh user and password as the password tht iz default for sum routers

Read what i posted before. I tried all defaults, tried all my dad's name's combinations, no luck

Well what else possibilities except bruteforcers you think you have? I suggest you to find ome safe one with good tutorial. And renember to scan it.

just try some default passwords,
username :
password : admin / 1234 / 0000

leave username blank, anyways this works a lot of times because ppl are too stupid to secure their router.

Kurios, not my father configed it, the computer man (dunno how is he called in english. He fixes software, hardware etc) :/ tried a lot of combinations of easy usernames and pws, none worked :/ @honsu, where to find one? ^!^
