How to max out WoW with high frame rates ?

I want to play WOW on Ultra settings, but alas, my frames are around 30-40 fps on average.

How do you max out that game ? Here is my setup.

    Core i7
    Radeon 5970 2GB RAM
    System RAM - 8GB
    Seagate Barracuda HDD.

How do I do the trick ? Will adding a second Radeon 5970 for CrossfireX solve my issue ? I want minimum 70fps at all times if not better. Also, I will be upgrading to at least 27inch monitor so resolution will also become an issue as it's going to be pretty high.

I was thinking of adding a SSD to install WoW onto and I know this will probably boost loading times etc, but I am not sure how it will affect fps. Also, maybe another Radeon 5970 will solve the problem ?
Help me, please. I just don't know what I need to invest into to get maximum frame rates or at least acceptable ones.

SSD isn't going to help you with fps really, Crossfire will definitely boost you up but that's about the only thing you can do with your settings up extremely high. Honestly the only way you're going to be getting 70 fps all the time is if you turn some of the settings down. So as of right now Crossfire and overclocking the two cards is the only way you'll boost the fps up.

Laptops aren't exactly the best overclocking setup. As long as you don't go too much it will run perfectly fine, I ran for months on an old card overclocked. It's all about having proper cooling and knowing the hardware's limits

are you running it in windowed mode? Also, try disabling vertical sync and turn down anti aliasing.
