    Help! my OS is screwed

Ok, well when I load up vista it works for 10 minutes and then any program I have up even the task bar freezes and goes unresponsive then about a minute later it freezes the OS when I try to do crtl alt del to get to task manager the screen goes black for a couple minutes then a little box says failed to load security options. Also I'm getting a blue screen that says physical memory dump or something every now and then when I load up vista. I've scanned my computer two times with no virus results, and it's just been getting worse. I'm using my computer atm on a built in ASUS OS that really sucks because all I can do is internet and msn.

Anyway I have window vista x64 home premium and my computer is an ASUS G50VT-X1

How long have you been running it? It might be time for a format and reinstall.

Yeah it's legit, got it at bestbuy, oh and btw I forget to add it usually freezes when the application uses internet, that's how I was able to scan my computer and it wasn't as bad as it is now

Edit: it's less than a year old

There is always the possibility that it is hardware problem. If you can open the case of the PC without voiding any warranty check that your ram fits in your slots perfectly. You might even take it out and in again to be sure. Some fans failiures can lead to this problem too, i guess. Use a software to check if your fans are running normaly.
