My comp only recognizes 2.75gig and i have 4 D=

I know windows 32 bit won't recognize all 4 gig, but it should def see more than 2.75. Here are some specs:

    Motherboard:
    EVGA NF68

    BIOS:
    Phoenix awardbios 2.4

    Crucial DDR2 PC2-6400 400 MHz 6400

I've taken out each stick individually and windows see 2.something gig. But with them both in, any order, it only sees 2.75.

In Task manager my computer sees 2.88
system properties it sees 2.75 (about the same as above)
At start up and in my BIOS it reads 4096

Very confusing little error, i don't get it.

My comp only recognizes 2.75gig and i have 4 D=

You need a x64 operating system for it to recognize the 4gb
If you need me you have my skype, if you don't have my skype then you don't need me.

Make sure that the BIOS is up to date, but other then that you are at the amount of memory that your 32 bit OS will let you be at.

And what's your video card? That's the most important part. VRAM can take up quite a lot of memory.

Anyway, just get a 64-bit operating system. There is absolutely no reason not to in this day and age.

Glider... thats the only reason, the shadow driver doesnt work with 64 bit, but its enough to hold me back. I guess i could update to Mserver 2008... Who knows what kinda bugs that thing will have though.

Oh. Well, that IS true, but there are so many other things that support 64-bit. I have not found one program that I've needed to use that did not support 64-bit. (I don't use Glider.)
