    Best work so far

But you can still see some spots you missed like in the left of his ear,
also i think the light source is too small, but its looks really great, keep it up:wave:

Edit: And it sure looks better than these Sasukes -.-

Very nice! Marcus Fenix would be very proud! I'll try doing one of RAAM later... to go with yours, hand in hand...

( not seriously, that was just a joke... I suck at using graphic stuff... ^_^ )

You are really improving, this has a ton of great effects. Your light source though should be spread more, try using a guassian blur on that. (set to whatever setting looks nice, with changed Opac) and also try to blend him in more, and make the effects in the background blend a little more. Overall nice job! Keep it up! (also try and blend the render in more, maybe with low opacity erasing, or by use of smudging.)

very nice, but personally i feel that although its brilliant that you are looking at tutorials and trying them out its most effective when you use the tutorial to create your sig using similar techniques (as i havent seen the tut not sure how different yours is to the original) but if you have effectively just followed the tutorial thats great but now what you need to do is use these features you have learnt on your own designs.
if this was your own version adapted from the tut then good job looks quite nicely finished. the colour scheme works well with the render and the style. however i feel just looking at the light source it doesnt look realistic enough. try angling the light source so it kind of spreads out like real light would (e.g. make a bit thinner at the top of the source)
also i think it would be nice to add some darkness/shading on the left of the sig to provide a contrast against the light and dark, and also because the top left corner with its lacking effects looks a bit flat, ruining some of the effectiveness of the depth you've created.
also perhaps try adding a serperate gradient map for the render, just at the moment it looks too similar to the background (not a major colour change as the blending is good but just a bit so some colour is added back into the render e.g. in the skin tones, lights on the shoulders.)

also as a final thing perhaps try erase/lower the opacity of the border around parts which it overlaps the render. (btw all of these comments doesn't mean its a bad job just things for the future, as things can always be improved)

good job though, can see alot of improvement with this and your recent mario signature.
