[Show-Off / Rate / Feedback / Question]

Alright! This is my second ever project using... The GIMP! I know, it's not as good as what you lot can do ( and it's WAAAY too big! ) therefore I would like you artistic lot to rate it out of 10 and give me tips on where I may need to improve and how to make it an all round better picture!!



Also, how do I move the render in the middle? I couldn't find a way to move it as when I add it it creates a new layer and I don't know how to move the layer... I would prefer the image on the left side of the picture, but I guess we don't all get what we want, huh?

Heya! nice work! i see you used that tut someone post a while ago
But tbh i would put the render over the swril cuz now its looking like his breathing the swirl in lol :P and some more paint brushing. atleast more brushng to the inner part. also you might wanna add some c4d Planet Renders // Renders - Fractal Renders/flame 2
for an exampel. but i rly like it 6/10 (10 being piersed)

1. What is c4d? ^_^
2. I didn't brush over the middle of the image because I wanted to move the man off to the left, where the "(FB4R)" is... But, you see, I don't know how to move it :S

I see what u meen with that u want him to the left of the wirl i made it so to, here:


C4ds are render with cool art that fits very well in a signature (working on a sig with manny cool now) here you can see some:
Planet Renders // Renders - Fractal Renders

But dont use to manny, the ressult can be a little messy like this:


And what i think you should do imo is:
Move the dude render much to the left, and move the text over his shoulder, then brush it a little more and add a symetric c4d in the middle of the backround and transparant it to 10-30%ish
