Any idea when you guys are implementing the restart feature into lucky's? I donated for the original project but since I have been having problems with the bot staying running I have been hesitant to donate. If this gets implemented I will be donating a chunk again

It shouldnt take too much for someone to rewrite the swtor starter script into the spacebot to make it keep the client going, problem is you have to put your password into it. Also, if you use an authenticator, you're kinda screwed aside of writing your own.

I've been modifying the core script myself so I have each of my missions auto-set my settings to work the best for that mission. I'm also working on the mouse overs for each of the missions to change the 'scam module' to 'Warfare Pod' just to rid the confusion

Working on it. I hope to release the new revision within a day or two, which includes a starter and some other goodies - I just have to finish leveling the new account to 15 before I get back to it.

Well, I have the current restart configured and sometimes it works. For some reason it doesn't seem to like the operative though when it gets to the character selection screen half the time it doesn't identify the play button. I have even used my own screen shot. So I would love to see a working version.

With the newest build, aetan is done with default settings no problem.

    UPDATE 5.35 - R237

The SWToR Starter is now integrated into Lucky's - big thanks to federp who created the original.

The new revision can be found HERE on the current x86 trunk.

    Changelog:

    • Options, Run Time = number of minutes before the game quits, 0 = never quit
    • Options, RT Variance = random run time variance in minutes, from -INPUT to +INPUT, 0 = no variance
    • Options, Off Time = number of minutes before the game restarts, 0 = never restart
    • Options, OT Variance = random off time variance in minutes, from -INPUT to +INPUT, 0 = no variance
    • The client should now restart after crashing, which will in turn restart the session Run Time (if not 0)
    • Fixed flickering issue for text displayed by dmsg() (in most instances)
    • dmsg() will no longer display mission times which are <= 0 at beginning of debug line
    • Added a big, red "X" next to Javaal and Kovor until they are completed
    • Added "Remaining: 0:00" field in middle of main tab to display remaining session Run Time
    • The "Remaining" field will update after each mission, displaying "N/A" if Run Time is not used
    • Minor cosmetic changes to Options and About tab
    • Archenar has been updated to match Drexel's improved pathing and targeting
    • Includes all mission updates from previous revisions
    • Thanks to the Lucky's team and all contributors
    • Please test, test, test!

    WORK IN PROGRESS

    - Version 6.0
    - Improved UI interface
    - Mission and crew task improvements
    - Bug squashing with exceptionally potent BFG bug killer

    IMPORTANT: INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST USE

    1) Run Lucky's Spacebot, revision 237 or higher, and then immediately exit.
    2) Navigate to your Lucky's folder and open Config.ini in your favorite text editor.
    3) Scroll to the bottom of Config.ini until you see the following:

    Code:
    [Login Info]
    Game Path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\launcher.exe
    Pass=YourPass
    4) Update Game Path with the full path to your game launcher.
    5) Update Pass with your password.
    6) Save the file.
    7) Open Lucky's and enjoy the new functionality

    ADDITIONAL NOTES

Reminder: Leave the new Run Time and Off Time fields at zero if you wish to run the game indefinitely.
Team Lucky's and other developers: When submitting future updates, please make absolutely sure that your password is NOT included in Config.ini.

I'll be watching this thread for the inevitable bug reports. Cheers!

Thats sound realy handy. It would nice if us "non-programer" users could some how save settings for individual missions.

so im a little confused on the runtime/offtime variance boxes. say i want it to run for 4 hours at a time (240 in RT) with a 30min break (30 in OT), which kinda seems like a usual playing habit to me. the variance boxes are to make it a little more random with those times so its not all 4 hours on 30 min off, but what do i put in exactly? it's saying -input to +input, so do i just put in a # (say 15) or have to put in -15+15? or somesuch. thanks!

Version 237 was mostly working, but if you tried it in the pm, the Off Time would have failed. Can you be more specific?

    That's exactly correct. If you enter a 15, the off time will be a random value between ($offtime - 15) and ($offtime + 15).

ok so if i put in that 15, just the number by itself, it may at random say add 7 minutes or reduce by 4 minutes, but not adding to or minus past the 15 (like adding 17 mins or minus 22 mins)?

also, i just did a test run w/o the variances, and its not closing out the client, its saying quit button can't be found ><

    That message means:

    a) Your window is not properly sized or positioned, or
    b) Your system didn't recognize the quit image

If b, I would suggest taking your own quit button screenshot, cropping it, and replacing ours with yours. That almost always solves the problem. Let us know!
