4.0x uploaded
please note that if 4.0 or 3.3 (or any version really) worked fine for you, then this update wont really do anything for you
main things
- fixed the bug where 4.0 was stuck on event sync
- added Debugger.exe
- made it so if you pressed E after pressing Q it ACTUALLY STOPPED
Debugger.exe is designed for people who cannot get the bot to find anything (eg world map) by resizing their window appropriately
many people who have pm'ed me have had very similar issues which had the same answer - the window was in the wrong spot/not resized correctly, mainly due to different windows settings (such as larger font size that changed the border size, etc)
and this program more often than not, helped them out
anyway enough explanation, the .txt file has been updated to reflect the changes
next plans:
- proper video guides on how to add your own syncs
- fix the stupid companion thing
as for crashes, i am 99% positive that is swtor's problem as when im just running around ingame doing my own things it blows up for no reason occasionally. i could be wrong but thats how i see it at the moment ..
also there is a known issue with auto-reconnect : if you DC and your game tells you it cannot find the server list, it more often than not hits the OKAY button, which actually tells the client to close itself. there is a slight issue with working around that .. so ill try to put it into the 4.1 version i have planned out
if you still cannot get this thing working with 4.0x (not sync issues - they are extremely computer dependant. timer sync is more 'reliable' in that it 'works' all the time, but not in sync, but event sync is much more 'accurate' - if it actually triggers) then please pm me.
yeah. ace fighter missions are the worst sync, i believe. it also changes very greatly between computers, and even runs, occasionally, as the six fighters may or may not spawn or even disappear correctly (they kind of just take a u-turn then suddenly vanish). this was 'solved' by syncing it to a later ship, but depending on how fast your computer loads, it may believe that a different ship matched that event (my computer does not, but my other computer does) and start incorrectly. later on i will re-do all ace fighter syncs to something more reliable, even if it means missing the first 6 ships and maybe the new few as well, as long as it can be done reliably.
thus, you will really need to make your own sync file for that mission if the default one does not work
to top it off, out of the 4 ace fighter missions, 3 of them have a red tail for the starter right fighter, but the last one has a yellow tail! that seriously makes no sense.
in the end, however, it does not matter as level 44 missions are god tier - extremely simple to sync (pretty hard to miss a cruiser waltzing in), extremely easy to pass, and best credits/hour, and also brings you to level 50. cant ask for more.
