Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm sitting in the captains chair, I've already closed the map. Then I open the .exe and hit Q, all it says is "Starting New Mission!" and it just sits there. I've run the .exe as admin, anyone know the problem? I have it on windowed mode, do I need to set it to a certain resolution?

Yeah, I'm having pretty much the same issue (I think). It starts, it changes the resolution/size of the window, and then it proceeds to not really aim, just doing barrel rolls and pew pewing what appears randomly. It's a good thing it's a mission where it can't really hit anything. :P

So I tried reinstalling Autoit, and having the default at x86 and I still seem to be getting this 5179. Anyone know how to fix this error?

Tying to run through the bot but it doesnt seem to be working. Im attempting to play Republic28. I sit in the chair, open galaxy map, close, run EXE and it clicks around for a little bit then opens the galaxy map but doesnt do anything. When I attempt to push q again after this it says 'selecting mission' but just stays on the zoomed out galaxy map. I have played around with delays but to no avail. Any ideas?

after some working out i decided to record my own profile over the default "Republic10Javaal". After a couple hours and about 40 runs it had a 100% succes ratio and ran with perfection. Keep up the work, would love to see the other missions added to the selection menu aswell. ^^

heres a quick rundown on how to record your own mission
    1. launch swtor
    2. go sit in the captain's chair and leave the Galaxy map
    3. Launch "UntzBotv14.exe" as administrator (rightclick and select "run as admin")
    4. once the bot is launched press "r" to change the mode to "record"
    5. select the mission you want to play from the dropdown menu
    6. press "q" to start the bot

if all goes correct the bot should now open the galaxy map and go to the mission

7.1. once the mission is loaded just do the mission as normal, but dont press any buttons or click the mouse. The bot will spam the "barrel roll" and autofires.
7.2. if you want to launch a missile just press "a" and it will shoot a missile
7.3 once the mission is almost over and you are sure there wont be any fighters anymore incoming press "s" to stop recording and wait untill the mission is over. The bot will automaticly select the reward and leave the mission.
    8. once the mission is over and you are back in your ship press "w" to stop the bot
    9. press "r" again to change the mode back to "play"
    10. when the mode has been set back to "play" you can now press "q" to start the mission.

If everything went correct it will now run the mission properly and kill the ships.

Also im pretty shocked to see someone releasing something he could have easily kept to himself and all people can do is bitch about it, take some time to work it out yourself and dont expect it to work to perfection straight out of the box.

Keep up the work man and i hope your not discouraged to update it ^^ id be more then willing to help out with testing.
+5 rep from me, am suprised to see noone else bothered to give some rep.

Ok so after searching through a ton of forums and posts I have finally got rid of that 5179 error. What I did was after reinstalling autoi and setting the default to x86, I extracted / unzipped the files to the autoit folder (Most posts suggested creating a new folder or extracting it to desktop, but that didn't seem to work for me) I was unable to successfully use the profile created by OP, the biggest problem was I couldn't figure out the delay (when the actual bot starts the mission) While creating my own profile I made real random / noticeable mouse movements to gauge when the BOT needed to actually start killing stuff. After tweaking with the delay I managed to go 42/47 win rate. I couldn't monitor all the missions played, but I think most of the losses came from latency (terrible wireless). GREAT work with the bot, now we need more profiles for Empire ^^. I am assuming there is no way for us to create new missions?

it shouldnt be to hard to alter the coordinates where it clicks to change the missions.

also i took the liberty of creating a quick vid of the bot in action

I noticed you have the deathcheck-window up in the vid, is that required to get it to work? Since the author didnt mention anything about it I havent tried with that open.

Just tried it now and still same error, sitting in chair pressing q and bot say "starting misson" but nothing is happening. Is there some kind of special windows theme i have to run (ie aero or something) or do i need some different framework for it to work properly?

    Repped. Thanks, dude!

But what if I want to record other missions like L40 and up? Which of the default ones do I select? This is the part I don't know. I can do Jabiim fine but it gives me 5XP. I want Sullust which is a L40-L47 mission and I don't know how to use the bot to record that run...

nah its not required and will run exactly the same without it. I just had it open in the vid to actualy see for myself what it did. the only thing it does is show you again what is already shown in the main screen in the top left of the window.

as far as i can tell that wont work. The only thing you alter while recording is the path it follows during the mission itself. the profile to start the mission is static and isnt changed. The only way to change what mission it is goin after i think is to change the coordinates in the "coordinates.txt" file in the scripts folder. Now my gues is that changing those coordinates you can trick the bot into running another mission. This is all just theory as i can not test this out myself as i dond have an imperial side char nor am i willin to use bots/hacks on my main account

edit: also i forgot about the detection to check if it is inside the mission. For that you go into the "images folder" and change the "Imperial48Ascendancy.bmp" to "Republic10Javaal.bmp". Again this is just a theory that i have. Without having the source to look @ its all just gueswork.
edit2: this theory i had appears not to work. Whatever i change it just keeps clicking where the original "Republic10Javaal" mission is located, making me believe that even that is hardcoded in.

Seems like the coords either revert or are hardcoded in one of the scripts that may be included in the compiled exe.

For instance, I backed up the coords file, and put in the coords for saleucami (550,286,356,255) and it still clicked on jabiim. Obviously stuff like this is happening where we don't have access to as then we would be able to access missions we add from the dropdown, but even the OP stated that it hasnt been included so it's likely these things are being controlled elsewhere. This is more apparent by the fact that we cant see where the resolution is getting changed or where he is grabbing the window handle. Op is either going to have to expose more methods for us to help debug or we are going to have to wait for op to level to where we are :-D. I will happily provide the Op with coords if they need it. Keep up the good work btw!
