Works perfect for me
Thanks a lot for the work you have done on this
cudnt get this 2 work got stuck on opening mission.
+1 Rep! Great job man. If nothing is happening when you start the bot, you have to edit the image files to match your screen.
The only problem I have now and someone might know a fix, is when I die, it restarts the mission but it still thinks I'm on the previous script and gives me "Finished mission, waiting on results" but I still have half the map to do thus the bot shuts off waiting the the mission end because it doesn't remember I died.
Anyone know a fix? I'm running the death check program also.

The bot just did 73 runs of Nez Peron! Works great!
Just wanted to say thanks to ThePhilz! This bot is awesome! I am new to botting and this is the first one i have ever tried. It worked great for me from the get go as far as loading up and starting missions. Thanks to bloodywarrior as well for the write up, I followed that to a T and having no bot experience at all, it worked out great as far as recording missions goes.
The only issues I have had are with the lag and cursor placement. The bot usually goes off over time, although every run varies slightly. I am guessing this is normal in botting?? To compensate I have just recorded over and over in more generic patterns. I try to lead out in front of enemy starships and focus in on map objectives. The three missions I have recorded complete almost 100% after some work.
One other issue I ran into was with my two characters. I recorded one mission with my bounty hunter and it worked great. I tried running the same one on my sith inquisitor and the bot would not engage once the map loaded. I.e. the guns would not come on and it would not re-record. I then tried recording another one on my sith that my bounty hunter hadn't touched and it worked great! Anyone else experience this issue with multiple characters??
Has anyone sent this up to run on the Mugaar ice field mission for imps?
I've been tinkering with the source for a while and found an interesting method that might have potential for perfect botting. I might release a modified version of the bot with only the Drexel Republic mission on it to test it. It appears to need a decent computer - it hasn't been working on thephilz's rig, but as of writing I've run this mission almost 400 times and have had 100% success on it. Only issue I have is forgetting to use my commendation points .. been capped on 1000 for who knows how long -_-
Play with the delay. All recordings always work off 2000ms regardless of what you have on the box during recording. This allows you up to two seconds either way to tweak your run. However note that despite being synced to the timer, the space missions themselves aren't synced to the timer - I set the bot to take a screenshot every time it detected the correct time and there's definite variations between runs, with roughly around 1 out of 5 being completely totally off by hundreds of milliseconds. But of course, YMMV.
I strongly encourage you to make your own recordings.
You do so by
1: Sit in the chair
2: Open the bot and press R, then select the mission you want to record and then Q
3: When you see your ship auto firering you are recording
4: Control with your mouse and use A for missiles.
You can use C for autospin if you prefer
Is there some specific way to work your way into recording non-preset missions I'm not picking up on?
