It takes a considerable amount of work and effort to get a bot to work over a large amount of players with varying setups.

10$ One time fee is nothing. Macrogoblin costs 30$ per YEAR, and isn't designed specifically for this game, much less space combat. thephilz deserves some compensation for his work. And the mere fact that so many people are donating already, will indicate the value of this bot being much higher then 10$.

When ever the bot fails (IE ship gets destroyed) it exits space combat & crashes as soon as my ship loads. Its giving Autoit Error Line 5978.

What I read there was "Others are greedier, so it's alright to be greedy".

    And so the world turns.

I've tried a lot of different ways to crop the time too and different pixel variations.. Is there another image i'm supposed to have? Cause it still keeps saying"Looking For Start" or whatever. If not I'll just wait for an update or something
It's still a issue with the detection of the time. I would continue playing with it, on other missions and varying times.

The bot's pixel detection works as follows:

A: Detects you are in ship by using the globe -> Runs Open galaxy map macro, gets you off the chair, clicks chair.
B: Detects you are in galaxy map. -> Runs predetermined Missions selection.
C: Detects Load Screen. -> Waits for time detection.
D: Detects Time Stamp. -> Sleeps for set delay.
    E: Bot runs as recorded.

If you are getting to the actual mission, but not to "Sleep for delay" which will be shown ingame, then your computer isn't detecting the timestamp. It could be many factors. When I crop a image out, I generally copy the image, then open a new Paint and paste it. You could have some white around the edges, which the bot would try to detect as well ( and would never see ). It could be to large and contain space images, such as a rock, a ship, or that "air" image wizzing by. Smaller is generally considerably better.

For a test, I would suggest taking a image of something that is INNATE, in every mission. Such as your Power Conversion module/the red in your hp, whatever. What this should do is detect it, no matter what, as soon as you load into the mission. It will not work for actual botting, as your load times will vary, but it will help you, and me, determine the actual problem. Do that and post back here.

If it detects then, fiddle with your picture of the times. You know its working, just not detecting time.
If it doesn't detect, it may be a issue with compatibility.

There is a huge difference between greed, and rightful pay for work done. Greed, by definition, is asking for excessive amounts of money. Excessive, by definition, means going above the usual.

If the usual is set at 30$ a year, and thephilz offers his service at 10$ lifetime, it is not humanly possible to describe anything he is doing with the word greed.

Well it's always a little bit of a let down when something goes pay, but so far this seems worth it.
Little chance of being detected, you're not interfering with others, and hitting 34 for free is awesome. I initially planned to do this just to 25 on chars for the speeder access.
Once I have a few up to the max, Ill probably cave in and donate.

Augh, I shouldn't be surprised that someone that argues in favour of greed to immediately start arguing semantics, the lowest form of debate. On top of that, you're doing it badly, because not of your claims of "by definition" is by definition correct.

Dictionary.com | Find the Meanings and Definitions of Words at Dictionary.com - Excellent site. Helps me whenever I have a problem with words, definitions and so on, since English is not my first language. You should try it sometime. It's virtually free.

And yeah, it's definitely humanly possible to describe it as greed. I think I just did. The fact that "the usual" is also greed doesn't change this fact.

Edit: On a separate note, try to not double-post. There's an Edit function.

Does it not surprise that the bot recognize every picture but not the loading screen and the timer.

What is the difference between this pictures. I don't know, maybe someone else?
    This are my own pictures:

    Filename: Imperial10Jabiim.bmp
[Beta] UntzBot (Space Missions Bot, recorder+player)-imperial10jabiim-png

    Filename: loading.bmp
[Beta] UntzBot (Space Missions Bot, recorder+player)-loadingm-png

They are saved as bmp 24 Bit files in the folder /images/

The only thing that made this bot any good was the free idea. Id rather buy innerspace or macrogoblin, they do a ton more work and they re more experienced, didnt make there main project because their brother didnt wanna get macrogoblin. The fact of the matter is you havnt put in enough work to untzbot to be paid for it.

    ITS A CRAP AUTOIT SCRIPT.

And this rithilax guy who thinks thephilz invented sliced bread

The bot being limited to space missions is a downer, it is a complete reason its not worth it.
and when you said "It takes a considerable amount of work and effort to get a bot to work over a large amount of players with varying setups" thephilz doesnt help, you should be getting paid.
His last post was 5 pages ago, idk if hes really keeping up with the large amount of players that ask for help in this forum and dont get it.

I'm not going to rail against those that choose to donate; I think it's already established that I don't like the idea. I'm saying that just to emphasize that I'm not trying to troll by posing this question - it is genuine:

Why would you pay for a program that currently, by the developer's own admission, is broken?

I think Untz froze my pc again. I cant remote into it currently to check.
As I've had it freeze my pc outright twice on overnight runs, I wonder what can cause it.

I donated because it works and has worked for me.

It works? But the OP clearly says that it doesn't.
