Guild Banner Competition - Prize £50

A banner is supposed to create a resemblance of the guild and website, logo and brand should always be what's visible. Small text tucked away somewhere is not the way it goes. Text > Background in banners and logotypes.

On the other hand, I like your latest one Narugold. The outer frame doesn't really fit in my opinion, one is good enough. The text is a bit hard to comprehend though which as said is not that good, never should a visitor have to focus to read what it actually says. But since it's not finished, I'll just wait and see what you come up with.

I would appreciate criticism on my banner as well, by OP as well as from you guys.

Yes I know exactly what you mean the text is really the most important seeing the OPs website, however there I haven't been able to come to a middle ground yet, your creation looks great, however it needs a little more shine to appear as "lava" i'm having trouble with the basic premise of the idea, mixing fire/lava isn't really hard, however it creates something vivid and bright and idk. However I do feel the need to add a "blue" shade to it since the motto is " we bring the storm" and its fitting to see something like that instead of just fire.

I'm digging how you made the lava, but my only thing is it needs to be a little brighter to appear dynamic.OR If you could make the text "lavaey"
EXAMPLE:
If you would use that effect on the text your piece of art is wicked cool
Problem is you would have to keep a black countour around your text if you do, else you wind up with something like my one of my previous 2 which burned your eyes.

Well no one used watermarks so he can use the images without paying anything, it'd be nice to thing people would do this for free for someone too and not just the mona
