    Hi guys, I'm a newbie here. So do I need to download PoEHUD first from https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo...3-release.html (ExileAPI 3.13 Release) because on the thread it says that PoEHUD is detected. Is there a video tutorial on how to run this API?

    The first post has a Troubleshooting section which most likely solves your problem and it also tells you what to do if not.

    - Windows 10 is the only supported system
    - download and install .NET 4.8 runtime .NET | Oops! (404)

    - make sure you run the 64x PoE client
    - make sure you use the standalone client (NOT Steam, NOT Epic Launcher)

    No. PoeHelper and ExileApi are the same project.

    From first post Troubleshooting. (The interesting part for you in bold)
    Nothing worked
    Make a post with a detailed error description. Post the full error log with "Information", "Error" and "Debug" messages activated. (F12 -> Show Log Window or as File in PoeHelper/Logs/Verbose-[date].log)

    So after running PoE as limited user, do I just need to click Loader.exe, run the game, then press F12?

    I suggest you start reading the answers.
    #303 pointed out directly what you are doing wrong. This was also mentioned in the Troubleshooting section you quoted (which is now worded clearer).
    Even if that wont solve your problem, #299 (and the Trooubleshooting section I quoted in #299 ) told you what to do if you seek further help.

    Unless you actually read (and "obey") those answers this will be my last post regarding this topic.

    Also tried to compile it from IlliumIv
    btw, works good on previous release (3.13.12)

    So been poking around on starting to do some dev work with this the past few days. Having a great time with it so far.

    Just a couple dumb questions from not being as familiar with POE data structures as I'd like.

    The terrain data in the client is super useful for pathfinding obviously and I'm aware I'll need to handle spawnable objects like doors and stuff. As for movement skills though like flame dash am I correct I can combine the melee and ranged layers and any un-walkable tiles that have valid ranged layers are ones that can be crossed with movement skills? Or do I need to dig into the heightmap/tile data itself?

    So far I've got some basic pathfinding and movement controls working, detecting area transitions, etc. Slowly poking away at a very simplified but functioning follow bot. The existing one has a lot of (seemingly) broken features and the lack of pathfinding in it makes it get stuck pretty easily. Will see as I'd like to slowly build ontop to add more modules that play well with eachother. Could be fun!
