Make a new user, called POE, do not grant him administrator rights (just standard user).
Create folder somewhere, lets call it "justinbieber" and put PoeHud in it, rename the POEHUD folder to something random, for example "hitsfromthebong",
just make sure "POEHUD" doesnt show up anywhere as a name, not as a exe, a shortcut or a folder name.
Restrict access to the folder "justinbieber" via security settings so that the user "POE" is denied any access.
You have to manually type in the username and then cross out everything.
Make sure there is no other copy of POEhud anywhere on your drive, download folder and so on, delete all of them.
The anti cheat might still randomly search for any name reference with POEhud, so make sure it doesnt find anything.
Only keep POEhud in the folder you just restricted access too, if hud has an update only place the new files into that folder, delete everything else,
dont keep poehud.rar on your system and so on.
Now go to your POE folder and shift click the PathOfExile_x64.exe and select "run as different user.
Type in username and password and Path of exile should start.
This is how you now will always start Path of Exile.
If u press STRG ALT ENTF to open up windows process task manager it should list "Path of exile" run by "POE" user.
Now you can start POEHUD, after it created a new .exe delete the old one and also delete the "poehud" shortcut.
You will always start poehud via the random name generated exe, since this is the real poehud.
Also empty your garbage bin, so there are no POEhud files anywhere except in that folder we created.
(repeat this process of deleting the old .exe + shortcut + garbage bin everytime POEHUD creates a new one, roughly every 24hours.)
This is how I do it currently, and once u get used to it, its no problem and it should be safe.
Keep in mind you have to redo your Path of Exile settings and copy your lootfilter over to your newly created user,
since the game is now only using the documents folder of the "POE" user.

Did you use the limited user method? Did you use it correctly?
EDIT: Looking through your posts, I know how you got banned. You were using this program: map-light-zoom-hack. No need to deny it, I saw and read your post. You were using it bilaterally with the HUD, and that is what got you banned.

I believe POE scans your computer after certain 'triggers', as well as at GGG's discretion. For example, any player that INSTANTANEOUSLY logs out as soon as they get chunked for 90% (quicker than humans can react), will trigger poe to look closer at your connection. The only reason I am suspicious of this is because of what happened to me back when I originally was warned for using the hud.
I got hit all at once and I thought I was surely dead on my hc 90+ char. The game logged out and I was instantly greeted with that original warning message. I never saw it before or after the flask logout macro was triggered. This leads me to believe that ggg have triggers set in motion to pick out targets to perform scans on.
We already know spamming instances can lead to a ban, I think its fair to call that a trigger? Not sure about quickly picking up items/rapid action sequences though, as it limits you. This unfortunately would mean that using certain addons may increase your risk of being detected.
Constantly scanning everyones pc would not be efficient, and provides cheat/plugin developers the opportunity to snoop and bypass their anticheat. I am no expert on this subject so 'take this with a grain of salt'.

Definitely,. I can confirm that getting logged out for doing too many actions at once will flag your account, even if they do not issue a warning. This is why it is important that if you are using plugins such as move-to-stash, stashie, autoflask, poeutils etc that you slow down the timings significantly. And by significantly, I mean 100ms or more. Autologout is also suspicious because I think they also count how many times you login to your character n a daily basis. Any anomolies will make the client get suspicious and target you.

So have I done something wrong? when I can't open poehud folder? I wont give me access, pops up that I need to admins permission or whatever, so a window with my admin account comes up, and I need to enter password. But that dosent do anything, still cant get into the folder. Wouldnt surprise me if its some permissions issue overall with my pc, have had it with other files etc. Or is it that my main account should have access to that folder? im probably lost xD. im shit at explaining btw :/

It sounds like you're logged in as your limited user, which you shouldn't be. You log in as your admin user, but run poe as your limited user. Then you run HUD as your admin user. This makes it so HUD in another user's memory than the user that is running poe, so poe doesn't have permission to read that memory.

EDIT: Does it work with steam? or iam just fking something up?
Launching game with right shift -> diff user -> limited user, and it stills show Poe running under my Admin account. Gonna try use PoE clinet instead of steam anyways I guess
EDIT2: ye, without steam no issues, maybe i missed that steam is not as easy(or dosent work) ^^

There used to be a plugin that highlighted matching maps for trade up and maps that you haven't completed yet for atlas, does this plugin still exist? I can't find it.

Is there a way to increase the 'update time' of the map (TAB) / mobs?
Lately I noticed that the mobs (red dots) arent showing up on the position where I am. I already tried a barebone version of PoeHUD (without any plugins) and its showing the same symptoms.
Edit: Okay, it is actually the build which slows PoeHUD down. With another build I dont have the issue.

Ok just wish there was a way to use an API and VM to run this. the game is running via pc with the game and anti-cheat, info is sent and linked to the VM where this Hud is running (undetected), so the player is looking at the hud via the VM. but the keyboard and mouse is connected to the PC to control the Game. where the anti cheat can't scan the VM or the Hud that is running on the VM. now this might limit the hud to only being albe to show Video base helping options only. and i only say that as i don't know if this can be done or even how to do it. But its an idea. and i am sorry if some else has thought of this and i missed it when i searched for it. Or something like nvidia streaming where the PC streams to the device and the hud is only running on the device. all the same game calls are being streamed to the nvida device.

still doing RPM so would have the same issue most likely, what you're thinking about would be possible using traffic sniffing in a MITM set up.

Fuck, I literally just want PoeHUD to see where the mobs are on the map overlay, I couldn't care about any other feature.
Hardly worth it though if it's detected. So sad, it was the best QoL tool for PoE.
