Sad thing about people who use fuckn windows to access GGG's servers via GGG's client is that GGGs servers are maintained mostly by LINUX. Everyone who knows something about how does linux work and how powerfull tool it is , especially some variant's of linux, knows what Im talking about.

I'm not banned but I can't imagine playing poe without autostash and autopick and autoflask, its just the worst game of the world.

I'll keep using hud ( with limited user ) til the end.

I'm pretty sure that it was Step 2 that is fucking everyone up on the limited user bans. Everyone who got banned, please read my previous post and double check your limited user settings. This is important, so we can figure out if the PoE client truly has compromised level 0. Remember, lying does not benefit anyone here other than GGG.

I think we can safely say that their anti-cheat is not running at ring 0.

I'm using the limited user method properly, 100% for sure. No ban here. I've been using this program since Incursion league, no problems

I only use hud(limited user) with plugins. no map hack,no zoom hack ,no ggpk modified. 11 days playtime still no banned.
Anyone who got banned use only hud or use another hacks,too?

it's really looks like banned ppl didnt use limited user metod corectly, i have no bans on 3pc (different internet provider, diverted gates), my friend also don't have any problems. I was a bit scared after ban wave, but now it looks like ppl with correctly configured limited users method can sleep well.

Running POE as a different user does nothing if u didnt block access to the hud folder and made the new account only have limited rights (no administrator).

I think people are fucking this step up because they have to manually type out the new username.

Which would be a shame, considering the shortcut method works just as it did before, only you have to modify it a little. If you use the shortcut I provided, it will work with no problems.

My opinion on the matter, though, is people are forgetting to deny access to the HUD folder, especially those who manually download from the repository, instead of using poepluginsupdater. It's a pain in the ass to deny access every time the HUD updates, which is why poepluginsupdater is so handy.

And yes, you will still need to use limited user mode if you want to use the HUD safely. Currently the HUD is detectable otherwise and will get your banned..

I got limited user ready, do I need to run PoEHUD before opening PoE? Also when I try to run PoEHUD I get this error message and it creates a new .exe file for PoEHUD with random characters. Anyone know what is happening here?

You run the HUD after you open PoE. And it is normal for PoeHud to change the name of the exectuable, it's part of the signature protection so that GGG can't simply look for poehud.exe.


Also, your error is because of Stashie. Simple go into your plugins folder, remove it, then download poehudpluginsupdater, and choose the plugins you want there. Then relaunch poehud. It's all self-explanatory, so I will not explain this again.
