Strongly suggested to run as a limited user (Run PoE as a limited user). It might still not protect you from all detection, but it offers *some* protection. Chances are good the anticheat will be rearmed soon, if it's not already, because of the upcoming event. If you're not comfortable losing your account, I strongly suggest not using HUD.

I don't think the AC has been armed for the last several days. They like to do a banwave and then shut it off so reversers can't figure out what they're doing.

I put about 6 hours of testing into the new release last night. Everything's working fine except for area preload alerts, but that's kind of to be expected. Thanks again for the work.

Great. I'll try and figure out why preloads aren't working. The "current area counter" offset is probably wrong somewhere.

Side note, someone dug up the IsLoadingScreenOffset so I'll try and get that back in.

Sorry but i wanna know how you find offscreen items when you're an arc trapper that kills packs that aren't even close to you in anyway without either HUD showing it, or else.

I'd say 90% of the HC Players are in Softcore League because Incursion is just fucked with the Vaal guys deleting you when u enter an incursion

Autoflask is pretty handy, you don't need to have one hand on DPS and Defensive Flasks while ur leveling/Mapping,

You hear the dropsound from your lootfilter and start looking for it. Dont see the problem at all. my arc trapper or gc miner has the same problem

they are now on softcore, doesnt change the basics that a lot wont or even cant play without autologout

autoflasker ... yeah handy but some are crying as if they have to play without monitor.

yeah i am here and thats my opinion. i would love to see the itemlevel without holding "a" again. but if not, i wont bother.

I'm planning to risk it and use PoeHud for the upcoming Flashback race but don't want to risk my main account. If I make a new account with different email and I land up getting banned, will my IP be banned too or should I do it with a VPN? Thanks!

For most ISP customers the IP address changes after 24h.
So if you play with the account who gets banned and your main during the same period, your main is at risk.

Furthermore, the MAC address might play an important role too. I have no clue if GGG uses it to ban but it might be a good habit in general to hide it.
A VPN will hide it as the server will see the VPN's MAC instead of yours.
That being said, the software on the client's machine can transmit your local MAC address to the server if the programmer wants it to. Not saying that GGG is doing it and I rather doubt it, based on no hard evidence; so I have no clue!

On another side node, servers can potentially ban based on IP ranges etc, which might be connected to a VPN provider which is generally used for cheating/botting.
So IF you consider getting a VPN, you'll need a paid one or a very unknown one to decrease the likelihood of being flagged by the server (or GGG).

GGG ban accounts, not IPs

I don't play poe without poehud and i dont want lose my 100usd account, both options drive me away from the game.

No hud? no poe.
Possiblity of being banned? no poe.

I still wondering whats the point on GGG working on anticheat against hud. It's ok to deal with botters, cause they ruin the game economy... but hud =//

So you are suggesting that 20% of all the players who play PoE know this very forum and use the HUD?
That seems WAY too excessive.
Now, even if it were true, 20% is a MASSIVE amount of players who are gaining an advantage, especially when it comes to competitive racing.
GGG -in my humble opinion- would be truly shit if they wouldn't try to put a stop to it if 20% are cheaters!!!

So on the flipside, sticking to your numbers: GGG HAS to do something about that huge amount of cheating, and not let them all go through with it because they potentially generate money.
