GGG ban accounts, not IPs

I don't play poe without poehud and i dont want lose my 100usd account, both options drive me away from the game.

No hud? no poe.
Possiblity of being banned? no poe.

well, no poe.

I still wondering whats the point on GGG working on anticheat against hud. It's ok to deal with botters, cause they ruin the game economy... but hud =//

A league in path of exile already last 1 month and then its a dead game.
Without HUD they prob lost 20% of their palyers or more ( me for example )... then... what?

Even if 5% used hud, they'd lose like what, maybe 0.5% of players? Let's be honest, most people here will just stop playing for now, but next league we'll all suck it up and return to PoE, hud or no hud.

Yeah, it isn't that hard to adapt (and we're too addicted anyway).

HUD came in useful for a couple bosses (I made a custom version that had a green icon for Shaper and a grey icon for Uber Elder which made it slightly easier to determine where each of them were), but it certainly wasn't necessary.
The loss of minimap and loot icons is sad, but we can switch to running more linear maps like Toxic Sewer. Hopefully GGG adds minimap icons in a later patch.

I don't know why you guys feel this website or this tool its so 'special' and acessible to only 5% of players... I can say, with 99% sure that you're sooooo wrong :P

I'm being gentle with 20%, I would go to 30-40% of poe players use or always used hud/macros/autopot/autoquit scripts.

Zizaran is the most famous streamer and I have seen his autoquit script logout working many times, his character being disconnected closely to death while he was looking to the twitch chat. It's so OBVIOUS.

But oh right, keep saying 1% of players use hud..... of course nobody even know that hud exists :P

maybe a little late, but prior to banwave i noticed PoE time to time losing window focus to invisible foreground window for couple of seconds

I've been using programs such as bots for quite a while now, since around 2010. You will eventually get banned there's no way around that. You learn to not give a fuck after having a ton of accounts banned. It's just a by-product of what we do.

I've been using exmap since the warning and poehud since the updated offsets on my main. If i get banned so be it, Im willing to take that risk to enjoy playing POE. Granted I have spent maybe 100-200 USD on my account so it's not a lot by some standards but I also understand if you're from a place where money is difficult to come by and not wanting to risk your account.

Before the warning I ran exmap an poehud with ninjapricer and chaos manager.
Now I'm using exmap and poehud with things like stashie, clickit, ninjapricer, autoflask, rare set manager, autopickup. (Running limited user now)

If I'm gonna be banned, why should I deprive myself of some awesome plugins.

One can easily subsidize the cost of stash tabs through RMTing, so getting an account banned every couple years isn't that big a deal. However, I'm quite attached to my current character's name, so unfortunately, that means the end of any hacking for me.

Most people don't download the release. The releases aren't usually up to date.

I was Just banned by Administrator. No reason other than that showed so I emailed support and will update if they confirm it was for 3rd party software.

Got response "I'm really sorry but your account has been permanently banned for breaching our Terms of Use"'

I was running as a limited user using poehud and exmap.
