PoeSmoother - effects remover

I'm new to poesmoother, i downloaded the free version and selected the ggpk file after opening the tool, once the parsing is done i check shadow (i'm on steamclient, dx11, window mode) but nothing happens in game. I'm probably doing something wrong, i checked a bit previous posts here but didn't find an answer. If someone can help me, ty!

i removed all particles from Metadata/Particles/molten_strike


how can i reduce / remove more from molten strike beacuse this balls still make some big FPS drops in big actions...

Easiest way to get rid of every animation of any skill is to remove all the lines in the parenthesis after ParticleEffets in all of the .aoc files connected to your skill. That completely removes every particle animation. You dont even need to touch any of the particle metadata either, cause the files wont even be loaded for animation.

How do u guys find out which files to modify? Its easy to find stuff like herald of ice and edit that but i cant find the corpse explosion of Inpulsa's Broken Heart - Official Path of Exile Wiki
