Maper's Minimalist Maphack ("Vex")

As far as I know, waypoints (like monsters, and pretty much everything else) are only loaded once your client is within a certain range of them.

You can get waypoint location from tileset.

I think Maper wants to stick to the "Minimalist" approach, afaik vex doesn't get any of the map tiles, it just overwrites a certain part of game memory like the maphack we had in the hud used to do.

ok, all help reviewed, no solution found. here's issue...

hack seemed to be installed properly. I receive message loaded successfully

I see no change in game...no mini-map update, no changes when I press every button...how do i know this is working? what am I looking for?..what exactly does this hack do?

If it's anything like the maphack we had in the hud you'd have to change maps for it to show up or explore a bit further and then press tab to see if you can see the whole map.

Thanks for input. No change though. I tried on the closed beta and "normal" poe. How will I know if it's working?

I have just confirmed that it is working in the current version of beta and live. What version of the game are you running, i.e. Steam, Garena, normal?

Once the maphack says it has been loaded successfully, you need to return to the game and continue playing. Once you change maps, or trigger a visibility calculation on the minimap (this happens after walking around a bit in-game) the minimap will be revealed.

If you still have no luck, I pose you the same question as above regarding which "version" of the game you're running, and also whether or not you're running either the loader or the game with restricted privileges on your machine.

I would say I'm running the game in "normal"..I do not run it thru any other 3rd party source like steam. I hope i understood the question properly.

After receiving the loaded successfully message I returned to game and played for 15-20 min on 2 occasions. I changed maps frequently and walked around quite a bit. I saw no mini-map appear. Does the min-map require a key press to be seen? Are there hack options I need to set before it will run?

As far as restricted privileges...i don't know if I have any of those. No one has put any parental controls, etc and I have not set up any odd preferences on my comp or with game.

Bizarre stuff man. I hope you have another suggestion.

From your reports it sounds as if everything is normal, and that it should work. There is no key that you need to press. Are you running anti-virus software? I haven't heard of it interfering before but I suppose that's not outside the realm of possibility.
