I am not a hundred percent sure, but I think phone verifications are just so that they know they have your phone number incase you scam them.
I'm selling an account to Accounts.net or Toonstorm, and I've never had to verify over the phone before, as accounts.com just required a text message. I'm not the OO and I just want to know what they'll be asking over the phone; like information on the account info, or how the account came into my possession.

Rep those that deserve it!
Plus, I don't know if you will be able to get the money because if the Paypal account name is different than the WoW account name they will not buy.

So is it necessary for me to contact them over live chat. I sold to Accounts.net and all it says is that I should contact them to speed up the process? Is this needed to get to the phone call step of verification, or can i just wait for them to call?

If they dont call in about 1 hour, you should contact them via chat. If your not the OO, then say u got it from a friend who went to Iraq or something, make up a good lie. But say that u have all of the info (even if u dont), and lie your ass off if u need.
I've been called by accounts.net and toonstorm.com before but I can't remember exactly what they asked for.
I do remember them asking if you are the original owner and if you have ever shared the account with anyone else etc, questions you should be able to answer.
