ExileHUD - External overlay for Path of Exile (work in progress)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong:

I have .NET Framework 4.5.1 installed
I've installed (x86) SlimDX as per page 1

I get the sound notifications for items/currency/dangers
I do not see any overlay information (they are =true on the settings, where appropriate)
I have tried clicking on the overlay icon and then back to the game to no success.
Is there a particular window setting I need? I've tried it fullscreen, windowed and windowed fullscreen >)_<

Any suggestions :3?

First run the game in windowed full screen mode. These type of direct draw calls don't work when an application is in full screen.

Second there is a menu button towards the upper left hand side, click on it and adjust the settings as to your preferences. With this current build, gray means on, red means off. Click on the menu button to close.

Thanks I just got it to work, I used the link from a user "vmv" on page 73 and that one seems to work perfectly!

Is there a way to edit the settings to make the minimap icons layover the main map? I don't like the corner minimap.

Coyl, or VMV, I rebuilt the solution in VS 2013, and the menu button disappeared. The program still works as i still get item drop alerts and the zone information and time bar at the top right, just no menu button. Can you please post solution build instructions so that i may properly build the solution to test my changes.

This is an already compiled version for those who don't know or don't have time to compile it : http://www.mediafire.com/download/wy.../poeSlimDx.zip

It has everything from Coyl master version and in addition :
- strongboxes like Arcanist/Artisan/Carto/Gemcuter have an Orange color.
- drop item list is shown going up instead of going down, so you can put them right above of Mana Globe.
- currency item drop color is violet.
- adjusted a little bit the info mod of items (color-position)

Nothing big, but is working fine.

VMV I noticed you have the location of the items moved from the original position. Do you mind sharing a link to the source of that build so i can compare the changes to the itemaleter.cs so i can teach myself?

well new patch has stopped my poe hud from working

the highlight and zoom still work! but everything else no longer works.
