GGG seems to have implemented some sort of additional security on chicken disconnect.
When you log off automatically to login screen on low life, you wont be able to reconnect for a few minutes on any realm.

No, they don't ban for this. If you take the time to read a few posts up you'll see this has been asked and answered many times.

Auto logout works for me. Just be patient I think guru normally only updates after actual patches like 1.3 to 1.4

Auto-logout macros have never been against the rules. In fact Chris told people that Alt-F4 was quicker to disconnect than logout, but I think he was lying. I have been killed a couple times with Alt-F4, I don't think I have ever with logout.

That's not really proof, though. That's anecdotal evidence.
