I'm pretty sure 2.5b broke zoom. I can't do it either. I mean... I get full zoom out but then the trainer locks up and I can't adjust zoom at all.

Like I think I mentioned, I found a hackey way to set a custom zoom level in x64 but the black bars I have no clue about.

Problem is steam, use standalone for now, i think zaafar uses standalone, same for me so usually we don't test on steam.
