There's a maphack under this in the forum... 2 weeks old were this is only a week... So um yeah? Gotta love morons...

There was a maphack Matt, but the source wasn't included, and the addresses hard coded into the hack. (and to reverse the exe file and "steal" those addresses would take as much effort as finding them to begin with.) This CT file uses patterns to scan for memory locations to modify, which the previous hacks did not (hard coded locations, which is why they don't work after patches). I'm now using the CT I compiled into an exe myself, but I will admit I used the included exe a few times, I'm still sitting on tons of exalted and chaos orbs with no locks or "hacks" yet. Of course, I don't download anything from anywhere besides Ownedcore and Blizzhackers. I've also looked into the usual places for malware to hide out, and of course not a trace of anything bad.

and bro, I know how much of a stoner you are, there isn't more there than you had, you just don't remember what you had correctly. They never even got into your account, as soon as they tried to log in from the IP that isn't the one you've been playing on the account was locked, they never had the chance to get "caught in the middle" of transferring things.

Also, I don't sign up for ANY websites using the same e-mail or password that I use for gaming related sites, there IS a possibility that people have been getting hacked this way and just associating it with whatever hack they used recently. There are more people on here claiming they used it and weren't hacked than people that are claiming they used this and got hacked, it would be the other way around. These guys don't sit on passwords and wait for a while, they go in, 10 minutes, everything is gone and so are they. The longest they might wait is if they got your PW while you are still awake, they'll wait until our normal times for bed. There is also the possibility of malicious advertisements on the various websites we visit. Hell, I wouldn't put it past the advertisements on this very site, MMO Kings already has a path of exile section up with over 500 transactions (supposedly), its possible they are responsible, though its doubtful since they are located in the USA (again, supposedly), It isn't hard to acquire an american phone number with VOIP, and at the other extreme, it isn't very hard for an american company to use a Chinese proxy server to mask that its them.

I'm still using the exe that was included with the program, haven't been touched. Although with the automatic lock, I can't be touched. My account will autolock and send me an email and you can't login to my email without getting a code from my cellphone and I doubt anyone will go through hacking a cellphone provider's database to get that so meh.

As of yet GGG hasn't enabled any sort of anti-hack system that we are aware of, so no. Nobody has been banned for this. =-)
Though be careful using it after a patch, come on here and check for ban reports before you use it. They could patch in a detection system at any time, and according to them, they will be pretty soon.

Yeah not to stir the pot more - yes I tested it, works well, but someone did try to access my account after the precautions came in, I'd say follow the advice of the other experienced posters in the forum - Make your own EXE file. It's simple enough and 100% ensures there is no hidden nasties. And of course I didn't download from any other site/youtube/forum besides this one.

But its a good post anyway now that security measures are in place. I wish I could just somehow check if there is a keylogger or something nasty in my processe, aside from the obvious scan that I've already done.

Well, finally got one of the links to work, but I'm unable to create a proper exe file with cheat engine. I get the exe file, but when I run it, I get a blank window. The hotkeys aren't listed...

Some explanation for those new to Cheatengine(which is really surprised to be necessary as it's a no-brainer):
You don't need to create exe file with CheatEngine, all that does is package a version of CheatEngine into that exe hiding most of it's functions from users, you can just open CT file, press open process button that looks like magnifying glass over PC and is in upper left corner, select Client.exe, say you do want to keep addresses, and tick away the checkboxes in the table, though make sure to tick meaningfull ones and not group headers.

I have been using the cheat table in cheat engine on win 7 64 and it works fine for me. make sure you have cheat engine target the right process though and remember to close the cheat engine when you exit game.
