How can you farm job for AD when it need to level char up to 60 to have most of slot open ?
Like "cdmichaelb" say, farming ADs can be done but get less output.
Making multiple "free accounts", grind them up LVL30, open "100% - speed" -slot, grind 1x profession up LVL20 (I use TAiloring or artificier) and you got 6x slot open.... and if you are greedy then you must do 3x Profession up to LVL20, get cheap Bot to level up character (I used Astral with unlimited clients, it cost 10.-euros 1 month but was worthy to grind 4x chars. same time), then you have 8x slot open.
Dont train workers, they pretty cheap in AH so buy them when you got ADs.
Leadership is slowest profession so it is better use other profession to get slots open, use same profiles for all APBI with "first workable" -option so it then matters not if you have 1 or 50 accounts. Use script to start APBI, it saves your time and nerves.
I dont waste ADs for character slot. It is faster and cheaper grind multiple chars on different accounts, IMHO.
...but if someone start from zero, has old hardware etc. then it will be slower...
Anyone can calculate 20 character cost if they are on one account or if they are "free", and grind "less ADs" 20x (12 - 16K per char LVL20) is enough for small Guild, xD.
I didn't plan to pay or use in game bot so i don't have a lot of solution.
But the advice to up an other profession first to open slot is usefull.
An idea for the coders...
I haven't looked at the code but wouldn't it be possible to add a smarter timer then the one that blindly follow a countdown, if you check all the end times on the slots when looping around and just take the one that is going to finish the earliest as the next time to do a loop. Probably need to add a bit of padding to the time but I think that should lead to a lot less unnecessary loops and probably make it less bot-like too.
Use "Astral trial", it has some limits but it saves your time like APBI do and it is free to use. (I did some free profiles for Astral)
Yep, this took long time to understand(for me)that, if you Grind "Tailoring" up LVL20 it takes 2 - 4 days, "LEadership" 2 - 3 weeks, so if you use 1½ week Grind 3x Profession up LVL20 and then start AD grind you then level "Leadership" faster.But the advice to up an other profession first to open slot is usefull.
I just need check how "Alchemy" works... it´s look weird after other professions...(after that I will get 8xslot open, 9th slot needs assets and luck)
ps. Not using real money was what I think first, but after I used "free Astral" I found that with 10.- euros I get what I want and then just using APBI.
If you play 20 character up to lvl30 - 60 it takes... few months if you dont play 24h per day. Heh, 20 character take ~ 2 weeks to grind up LVL60 and it cost me 10.- euros(50 cent per character), minimal loss off your free time and I used some simple Foundry -quest to level up, using PvP is "not good" because it "might" ruin others game play. (I dont count electricity or other stuff)

Never seen that error, not even then when tested early Alpha. Can Gateway itself cause some problems.
I got just start-up errors. Same errors occurs randomly and started few weeks ago (tested with two different hardware + with WMvare)
Hopefully someone who knows more programming get sourcecode for APBI or do whole new Bot what do all what APBI4.5 can do and better.
Patience new bot is coming soon. I'm currently testing it privately with Methuselas and I've run into some timeout issues that need better handling. Once I solve them, public version will go up![]()
Hopefully you also test it with multiple accounts, like APBI was tested.
My problems with APBI 4.5 are now gone. It seems that Gateway itself cause some start-up errors and bot got stuck... but AD flow stays steady because Autoit -script close and restart APBI,.
..but what ever comes next it will hopefully serve better than old one and have open source code so when Author retire from project then others can take over...
I'm running this with 6 characters and it's working near perfectly so far. The only issue is that it doesn't seem to restart the queue when it finishes a task. My queue is:
>Seek Out Maps
>Collect Taxes
>Battle Undead
>Protect Caravan [fallback]
Often times it'll go straight to Protect Caravan after collecting some reward instead of trying the other three. I've got to manually cancel that and start one of the others. I have it set to "First Workable" (and have tried the other two settings) to no avail.
Anyone find this to be an issue?
Use "First workable" so it try what task it can do, with that setting you can level your Profession from 0 - 20 but query is really long, so its good idea make 2 - 4 leveling profiles where is one "bullet proof" task (is that fallback).
Just dont know if there is more efficient tasks.
I use this 8 - 17 with Leadership(just remove slots or add task) 6x slot
