Quick question - How do you un-hide the window?

I clicked the work mode button and it hid the window for the program. I try to hit Strg+W(Ctrl+W i think) and it does not come back. Is the only way to get it back is to close it in the task manager and re-open?

3 hours and 20 minutes, and now seems it just randomly increase between 450 mb and 560 mb of ram

weird that its still that high for you while its much lower for the others, isnt much else I can say about it

2 slots, Platesmithing, Tier1_Heavy_Gather_Basic

It ran once (10 minute tasks) just fine but after "Collect Reward" it would not start the next attempt.

CPU shot up to 75-100% for that one exe. ( I was running 4x APB.exe at the time, the other 3 were between 15-25% cpu each)

I interrupted, loaded, saved, edited settings, restarted with the "Start" button several times, but it would simply not start the task.

I then closed the APB.exe and completely restarted. Working now. Will monitor to see if it continues to the 2nd round of tasks after "Collect Reward"

So it so much better then before.

I will also let it run overnight to see how it will do.

@Valefort, are you sure you are running version 1.2.3?
Or are you doing many slots with all 10 minute timings on them?
In the new version it only seems to increase a little bit on each 'click'.

The problems comes with running multiple slots at the 10 minute jobs.
Then the page has to be reloaded often and this will increase the memory leak.
For example, I run 3 slots at 2hr jobs and 3 slots at 1hr jobs.
After 4 hours now, it is only using around 90mb of RAM.
So my suggestion is if you want to run more instances, choose the longer jobs.

I'm figuring the gateway doesn't release memory, when it goes to a page, so when it continually goes to the same page, it keeps grabbing more and more memory, rather than flushing it's cache, like it should.

Uptime is about 5 hours. 100mb taken up. Of course, I'm only mining mithral in one slot and building Professionals in the other three.

It's timed out and crashed on me. I don't know how long ago it was, 'cos I went out for dinner, but it seemed to have stopped an hour ago. Didn't give me a reason why. Sorry about that. :/

on the gateway in firefox, I've had to refresh the gateway a few times int he past when I've left it on and used it often, refreshing always fixed any issues i had with it. I wonder if a refresh feature might help with the memory leak if it's related to or from the gateway.

That high cpu should mean that there was an endlessloop somewhere. I plan to change a lot in the bot over the weekend

- Splitting the functions even more and give a log after each step. This should provide more details when something fails and it should be easier to figure out what went wrong
- Adding delays, to make its not to fast and bugs because the gateway doesnt respond that fast - also easier to detect errors in this way, because you are able to see more what the bot is doing

It will take me a while, I hope to release these changes on sonday

I try to reduce this leak even more. Maybe a full site reload helps? Any information you have about ways to make it less, let me know

Sounds good, however as far as I know refreshing usually logs you out, this mean I would have to safe your accounts + passwords as well

I might do it still


So my todo list:

- Splitting the functions more with more logs to find errors and bugs easier
- Adding delays, will make it a bit slower but it will be easier to see what the bot does and gives the gateway time to react
- Refresh function, however needs to safe your account + password then. I will probably make this optional

Did you test any other bots/scripts? if yes, how was the memory leak with those

nope, havent tested any of them cause lazyprofession forum is offline and i dont have it.
This is the only one i tryied maybe someone else can do a compare between them

9 hours uptime, no problems. I still got the "one of the required assets could not be found" on Slot 2 over and over again, but this time, it didn't fail. Mem usage also jumped up to around 500mb. I tend to agree with Valefort about the shorter jobs. I was building Professionals with 3 of my 4 slots, last night. They finished around 4 am, at which point one of the slots I was using switched to gathering mithral. I'm pretty sure that's when my memory spiked dramatically. Once I switched Slot 1 to gathering mithral, however, I didn't get a single "one of the required assets could not be found message" on it.

Other than the memory issue, it seems to be fairly stable now.

i'm still having issues with 'Worn Infantry Weaponry' - asset could not be found
am i the only one?
this is pretty much a back breaker for leadership since most higher rank task require this tool

The memory leak is caused by the amount of clicks.
So if you are running many 10min jobs, this will increase fast
also, if you have a lot of endless loops in between because it is unable to start a job, the leak will increase even faster.
I let it run overnight with 6 slots. 3 at 1hr jobs, 3 with 2hr jobs.
it is running for almost 14 hours now, and only using around 200mb of RAM.
Removing the anti afk was a good thing, no disconnects at all.
In this 14 hours, I had around 20 error loops because it was unable to assign the asset.
error; one of the required assets could not be found.
maybe this is caused by the script doing things a bit to fast.

Dragon, other bots/scripts will cause the same memory leak because its in the gateway.
lazyprofessions will increase the RAM usage of the brower it uses.(IE for me)
That script itself is a lot slower,causing a lot more delay before it starts a new job.

So you could make the bot a bit slower in selecting things, so we have less loops.
You could also build in a pause between loops, so it will wait for like 1 minute after a failed selection before it tries again.
Another option is to restart the program completely every so many hours, but then it needs an autologin and autoload settings options.
These are only work arounds because you cant fix the root problem.
