Yep, pretty sure he might think that he has a foolproof method^^ But he only thinks that because he has no idea of how unbelievably detailed the Logs of MMOs are

Only thing that would be nice to know is if only the perm banned have been flagged for the checkups. I bought like 500+ Items and have been suspended for 72h. In theory I could have no idea that I am supposed to delete them (because I did not have to tell them I will) and without any notice by Anet to me directly I think I will keep them.

It would never hold up in court if they banned the 72h suspended guys when they keep their items WITHOUT sending an eMail stating that they want us to delete the items. The perm banned -> reduced to 72h are different, they stated that they know exactly what they are expected to do^^

... Id enjoy your perma ban then, they will track all exploit items and if u exploited, they will just reban you, its that simple and with no argument =/

Edit: you can argue court all you want, youll still be banned and complaining.

The question is why would risk to get banned again just for a few weapons ?
I will delete everything because i was lvl63 already and it took me really long to get there i already bought a new account and played to lvl20 and i cant really stand it anymore. Im actually thinking to record the deleting with fraps just to be safe.

Thats BS, they were intelligent enough to know (more like advised by their legal department) that they would be in a world of hurt for perm banning ppl that bought from an ingame vendor. Thats the reason they "graciously" offered to reduce it to 72h if we promised to delete the items. They cant go ahead and do the same thing again to people that were banned 72h, thought they had gotten their punishment and got on with playing, because they dont follow reddit^^

They weren't worried about the legal problem, but rather the community problem.
Community wont give a shit if a wave a people get re-banned for not deleting the items.
Feel free to try and keep your stuff, id be interested to know if your not banned in a week or so.

I personally think it is better to delete any weapons we get from this exploit especially for "us" who buy it in excessive amount like 1000++, I'm sure we're flagged and they will check on our account manually

I'm thinking the only reason they were able to log the people that had them was because checking the vendor and what items were sold. When scrolling through that list the people that only had a few didn't stand out enough and were not banned. If I still have any of the vendor items I'll delete them for sure but I'm keeping the legendarys I made.

Oh, I wasn't questioning your timer. Actually I was reinforcing it. They clearly said that the bans will be lifted 72 hours after the announcement, not the actual bans. So we still have a few hours left (whenever the announcement was made, I haven't bothered checking).

If u dont delete few exotics then they will have a reason to ban u again. So....

They ban you permanently again ---> you loose account and go to buy new one (at least most of ppl i guess) ---> they got profit

I'll delete the weapons because I don't want to level again... but I'd be pissed to be banned again if it was because I kept my one set of level 80 crappy vitality gear.

Dude, you need to delete more than that. I'd say delete your C:\ drive before they scan some internet history of you being here, that alone will get you permbanned IRL and your bank will neglect your bankaccount. Father ANET is watching, and he sure is expecting you to respect him ... OR ELSE!
