Best levelling spot 35-55

The Splintercrest Fort Waypoint event seems to have been removed from the game, or is glitched on my realm. I havent seen it happen once in 5 hours- Only the Steeleye Waypoint event seems unchanged.

Any suggestions for an event to do while waiting on Steeleye?

After the server reset, this is now fixed and working as it should.

working as it should - enough events for non-stop leveling, just look for the post on 2nd page and you'll see 3 more events nearby. also once in 4 hours happens a grand event where you kill a huge dragon. its a bit higher on the map, but close still

working all the same. Only one event is missing before the escort of the guy there was the defense in his village. that one is missing but still 4 events avaible.

edit: ok it seems the event is still there but you have to have proper events sorted around the map otherwise it wont spawn. Bigger population of people helps a lot coz in the mornining there are lack of players and events not finished

One cycle takes about 18-20 minutes, during that I receive about 11,5k XP if I am able to do all events like in the video. So that's about 35k XP per hour.

Thats great! From what level do you think this possible? Maybe lvl 35 is too low? The mobs kill me really fast.

Great vid but the last 2 cycles are too hard to do at lvl 35, and i'm even in full yellow gear at 35 still get downed badly by those 42+ mobs on that route

Its basically a straight walk.
To anyone else coming here, be smart and use the free Heart of Mists port to get to the Black Cit lol.

Those are the Event Locations. Orange circles mean normal Events, red circles in oranga circles mean follow-up events.

This is what I have been doing for a few hours now, it's a bit hard to explain, I hope you'll get what I mean:

1. Start at the Steeleye Span and complete a Defense and Repair event (they happen right after another)
2. Check the Fort Splintercrest waypoint.
a) If it's contested (crossed swords behind the waypoint symbol) the event has already begun, so you want to teleport to the waypoint between the span and the fort and take the green path.
b) If it's not contested, take the blue path and check for the other event ("protect Tokkra on his way...blah").

If you took the green path, complete the event and move on to the end of the blue path and wait for the event there to start.
If you took the blue path, complete the main & follow-up event and then move to Fort Splintercrest and wait until the event there starts.

Keep in mind that you always want to check the Span waypoint if it's contested, because you always want to complete the span events (16 minute cycle).
Also, if you're in the middle of another event and see that the span events start, keep in mind that the first span event takes 5 minutes, so even if you arrive last minute you should be able to get bronze, which is just ~300 XP less than gold.

If they events line up perfectly, you'll be able to complete all of them in one span event cycle (16 minutes). Sometimes you'll only be able to complete the Splintercrest and Escort event, meaning you missed the "Stop Tokkra's kidnapping event". It happens.

I found it best to do a triangle. Complete both of Steeleye, run to Drake Hallow to finish the Escort that has usually started, then run to Splintercrest and back to steeleye. There was maybe a 2-3 minute pause before each Steeleye started over- plenty of time to vender and Salvage.
At level 35 I earned around 1.9k EXP each quest. At 55 it was around 2.5k.
Dont forget- if two events are going on at once, just kill a single mob at one and dash to the other. Two Bronze > exp than one gold!

I think with that last reset they changed the range of one of the cannons so it's harder to do strictly with cannons

I never seem to get the Splintercrest event. Does it make the waypoint contested or something? Because usually I just hit up the Steeleye, then hope to get there to prevent capture in time, escort them, and then I jump back to Steeleye. Am I missing something?

Yes, it does make the waypoint contested. Just check the map often enough and you won't miss it .

Also, keep in mind that you don't have to complete an event to get gold. I did some other event cycles for upper levels and noticed that it would take me only about ONE minute to receive gold for a 7 minute event. Keep that in mind when doing this cycle, and you shouldn't miss too much events.
