You will be very hard pressed to find any bot that is 100% passive. If it supports background mode, right there its not 100% passive. If it does anything but simulate keystrokes, its not 100% passive. I have been botting almost 24/7 and selling shards day in day out. No bans. I have teleported, ran speed hacks all day. No ban. I think SE is only banning based on player reports right now. With game sales declining (I see less and less friends online every day) I don't think they will be looking at adding any anti-botting measures anytime soon.

I would agree with that. Seems bans are based on player reports. Since viper has been released to the public maybe 2 bans have occurred. 1 was for gold selling (but he said he used teleporting) and the other was running 24/7 unattended. Guessing he got reported and investigated.

Finally updated to 2.1 (was out of town yesterday).

Here are the gooddies that went in.

All Bots:
- Bugfix: Fixed a bug with the anti-stuck code where the destination was close

FFXIV:ARR Bot:
- Added: Ability to select what to harvest per node, ie crystals and shards (see Patrol Area/Targeting - Double click item for details)
- Added: Ability to select harvest distance
- Bugfix: Fixed some random crashes when crafting
- Bugfix: Fixed gathering while stealth (was bugging out in some instances)
- Bugfix: More stable player position offset (no more having to zone to get player to populate)

Absolutely loving the new update! Still on my wish list (would be a great xmas gift!) is a timer option to shut down the bot after a few hours.

Well seemed pretty good from all these reviews until I tried to log in yesterday after using it for two days, and received the error "your license key has expired. The program will now automatically download a new license key when you log in. 20003"

So I tried to go onto the forums and post my issue or pm the pitviper, but it would not let me and just takes me back to my log in page. All I can do is read posts and pay for another subscription.

So I tried to reach the owner of the Paypal account twice by email instructed by Paypal. Again failed to get a response.

So now I will try here as my last hope for contact. ***Can you please fix my account as I can not use this bot... if you look below it says I had it for a whole 3 days. ***

Here are my personal requests for the new year:

Disable auto jump. Its making me jump off of a cliff while harvesting.

I know that there are grinding profiles aready, but I would like if you could make them turn key. By this I mean at level 1 I just hit go and it will run quests, turn in rewards, etc. All the way to 50.

Add more logout options. Exit on level, exit after time. I usually run the bot for 8-10 hours every day, and I have to manually stop the bot. It would be nice if when I start it, it would exit at say 8 hours.

- Tweak: Enlarged the window for name selection to read very long patrol names.
- Tweak: Major change in bot behavior. Bot will no longer find closest waypoint after kills/harvest. Will continue along waypoint route.
- Bugfix: Fixed target counters for use with Patrol Area (to stop bot after xx harvests, etc)
- Bugfix: Targets per Hotspot fixed in Patrol Area (to force bot to move to next hotspot after xx kills)
- Added: Misc text update messages
- Bugfix: Fixed synth bug where it would sometimes add 2 HQ on a new synth campaign.
- Bugfix: Fixed fishing bug where it would not mooch on the last cast.


I didnt get a chance yet to add the auto-jump toggle, but I'll get that in next patch. I like the idea of a turnkey bot from 1-50 though. Should be possible with the current bot as it is, just will take some time to link up all of the existing patrols into one big one.

Is there a questing bot built in to do storyline quests?

With the tools provided you can do quests, yes.

I'm playing using a controller and gamepad layout, does the viperbot need key bindings from a traditional keyboard layout to function?

Just looking to avoid having to swap the layout configuration all the time.
