Added the ability to select what to harvest. So no longer will you have to only harvest 1 item, you can select crystals, and if no crystals, harvest the shards. Enjoy!

Will viperbot ever get an updating launcher?
Got the bot and so far liking it, have two questions though
Can we have it gather for two different items? The route it takes im trying to get wind crystals but some trees don't have them so i'm getting a lot of pigments since theyre in that slot
also is there a way to ignore certain nodes, I figure this would solve my first question if I could just ignore the nodes without wind crystals

I'm glad you are liking it. We have a beta version that a couple of people are testing that will harvest 2 items (ie crystals, and if no crystals, harvest shards). So far only minor bugs with it, once I fix those, I'll push it out to everybody.

I personally use this bot and it has been a great investment in terms of leveling my gathering classes and also to grind my low level battle classes. keep up the great work
Is there dungeon botting?
NO, fate botting and dungeon botting are still on my todo list. The todo list is getting quite smaller since the first release, but those are still yet to be programmed.
So far, harvesting, synthing/crafting, mob grinding, fishing etc are working. In beta is a gathering by item (crystals and shards both using the same patrol. I'll prob have working so that you can harvest 100 of this, 100 of that before it goes public in a day or so.
Updates have slowed, and I'm getting out about a patch a week now with bugs and features that people are asking for. So just keep those requests coming and I'll get them added.

Yes please! I would like to be able to farm 1000 earth shards, and then 1000 wind shards without having to restart the bot with a new patrol.

i dont think anyone asked this yet.. how is the bots protection / how does it work.
and what is your making experience for these bots "years"
looked on your forum and saw plenty of bots..
im just worried about a ban wave. from what ive seen out of ffxiv arr is that everything was calculated in place perfectly when i was leveling to my rotation at the start - end of a bossfight it fit perfect and i am a very experienced player
with that very low price including the todays economy it scares me very much. how could you reassure me in a safe manner

No bans for viper. There was one a couple of months ago, but he later said he was teleporting. It seems ffxiv security is totally based on player reports, dont get reported and you wont get banned. Even with that said, as you can see from the forum, no bans going on at viper.
The main reason viper doesnt get ban waves, is we dont do massive injection into the game like other bots.
But the bottom line, bot smart (not 24/7, not in populated areas, etc) and you are relatively safe to avoid the dreaded ban hammer.

yeah but i was hoping for a like 100% passive bot like all the wow bots are... its too little of a gap to start botting. ive seen how they made this game they are sitting us on a train that is calculated the entire time even throughout bossfights mana consumption is perfect if you are in the right position of the game... and as smart as they are and with how much moneyh spent on the engine im guessing they will have a suprise... so i will wait and see
