Ah thought you meant the forum itself being locked. Mods are likely locking topics that don't belong there. That one in particular is in pre-purchase support, and was answered and locked after the answer was provided, looks like the OPs thread was hijacked. You should be able to post in any forum though, just make sure its the right forum
Soap please post me the link to where the bans are being posted I am unable to locate them.
Double post
The tool is awesom, it does what it have to do, but i was banned after a month of use, and i cant log in the forums soapboxrotatiosn forum anymore. I repeat, the tool is awesome but blizzard know how to detect it.
What are you talking about? Anyone can create a forum account and see what is there. There are dozens of discussions going on about the recent ban, theories on how blizzard detects bots, a million questions on chances of being banned etc...

Just so you all know, soapbox is a wicked tool, some of the rotations defo need some work, but as far as i can see via the forums, the devs are improving/pushing updates them every few days, which in all fairness is to be expected at the start of a new expansion when everything changes.
I have been using SB for a while and have never been banned, missed the previous ban wave everyone was talking about, soapbox has even the support to allow for the firehack unlocker, which is currently what I am using, just to be sure, until soapbox releases their non injection rotation bot
Just my 2 cents because I feel like this is more of a "rep" post than anything... I'd stay away from SBR. Nearly every ban wave it gets detected. It has no built-in security protection if you're using it. Basically if you use SBR you're going to get banned... not four years down the road, but sooner rather than later. I'll admit the routines are awesome, they do what they're advertised to do no doubt. But you'll lose your account. There are other ways to automate your CR and pull 85-95% of the rankings without AS MUCH (there's always a risk) of a risk of a ban.
Hey bud, since its a genuine question ill will answer honestly for myself alone.
40% this:
I have had two elbow reconstructions on my mouse arm, over the last 2 years - as a result i had to tone down from mythic to casual. Automated rotations allow me the oppertunity to continue playing with friends and family.
Basically when ever i rotated my hand to be palm down, (supernate) my radial head would dislocate. Palm up (Pronate) it pops back in, every single time. Now pick up your mouse - arm bent 90 degrees and look at the positioning of your elbow. Flip the mouse over so you can see the laser (without changing your grip) and look at your elbow again. Can you visualise what is going on inside your elbow joint? yeah ouch.
50% this:
I love automation in every aspect of life. I like making tasks efficient and easy.
It is my professional job (automating document such as leases / mortgages. You know those 50 page documents the bank gives you to sign when you take out a loan? and charge you 800$ for doing it? a huge amount of automation goes in to that so it is essentially a monkey behind a computer just ticking some boxes to generate a "customised" loan agreement taking approximatley 5 minutes. Take a loan with 3 borrowers, 2 guarantors and multiple security properties Easily achieved with minimal "lawyer" (and often none at all but shh). Or a hugley complex settlement statement in 45 seconds? All achievable throught the glory of coding.
I enjoy this so much because it makes other peoples lives easier and businesses more efficient Sure its just a job but its a job where i can make a difference and make people happy. That is what I get a kick out of. In fact i enjoy the act of automating so much i extend it to WoW.
10% challenge. Self explanitory.
Hopefully this answers your question and helps you understand the "why", even if you think its wrong. (Hint: its a point of view).
Edit: Massive moral objections to PVP botting but again personal view and we are all entitled to them.

Completely innaccurate. It has only been detected in the past six months or so. Went two years without a ban. It has built in security that Blizzard overcame. In the past three waves where soap users were banned relatively few were caught until the most recent. The most recent about 10 percent reported in as banned and Soap estimated the total bans to be around 20 percent of his users.
That said, using any unapproved rotation program atm is riskier than usual. Someone at Blizzard has it in for them.
