Yes, to quickly be able to do things I find enjoyable or be able to do more of it because of time constraints. No, I can not wrap my head around how people find it fun to watch their character be played artificially. I can't imagine you can get any feeling of accomplishment when you're not playing your own character. I'm not being arrogant, I'm genuinly curious...

Can someone please explain me why people are buying this? Isn't playing your character the whole point of the game?? How can it possibly be fun to watch the character play itself?

There are people with disabilities.
I for one cannot play manually extended perioids of time, at half way of raid if i play manually my fingers and hands are in extreme pain so i'm forced to use rotation bots, my guildies know that and they agree that people with disabilities should be allowed to use bots to improve quality of gaming experience.
I still play what i can manually ie. movement, targetting, cooldowns and interupts amongst other things.
