AutoIt Questions/Helps

Hi guys,

I know that there is probably some Autoit Dev's, so i'm using autoIt since now somethings like 6 months and i learned some basics, but i have still somes problems with some things that i didnt understood or can't find a lesson for.

I'll ask to you how did you learned autoit ? Any website, books? I really love this language and i really want to learn more, actually i have followed some basics tutorials on some websites but nothings really complete, the autoit help and some forum researches help me always more than the little tutorial that only learn to use Msgbox and make a little Gui on koda.

My final goal is to be able to make little bots just for fun, i've already found some researche tracks about Cracks'me and ollydbg in a previous thread, and this seem really interesting.

Everythings that u can learn me/make me discover is really appreciated.

Autoit / Autohotkey are scripting languages, you're better off learning from their website directly.

Probably the easiest way to create a bot nowadays. All you gotta do is have a brain and read what each functions in autoit do to use them.
In the first day I studied autoit I already did simple but complete bot for the game I was willing.

Also, if you want good and complex bots, forget autoit.
Go for c++ or java with its robot class.

Does Java's robot class actually simulate keystrokes though? I thought all it did was break a string down into chars and send em to a window. In that case, you might get text to appear, but I didn't think it would actually simulate a keyboard stroke like you would need for an actual bot since it's just sending some 'char's.

I tried to google a similar script to what I was trying to code. When I did, I used it and tried to figure out what it did and how it was written. After a few times I started updating the google scripts to my liking and after a while I started to write myself. When I don't know, I google.
