Help with LUA custom items?

I know nothing about LUA. I downloaded a server and saw that there are items that preform functions outside of the norm..

i have a custom item [Entry] 999999, GM Stone i was wondering how to get this item to preform 2 fuctions,

1, add spells ( gm spells from a list i got)
2, add items ( Custom items )


I have tryed to play with it and i wind up causing a server meltdown.

can anyone help me..?

P.s. This is for World of warcraft.
