Oic, explains why it's so random, how do you synchronize the healer to only revive 2 seconds after the mule is dead, do you need to automate the killer ?
I tried running 3 accounts on my computer (1 wmware station, 2 - separate instances on win7).
Everythinf was running smooth, but not so fast (not 300 certs/h but about 100/h).
When mule is not ressed very fast - corpse dont disapear...
I dont synchronize characters - vmware just pust heal button for 5 sc, stop, and push again.
Reser was push accept button, then swich to killer and shoot, drop ammo.
Several times i was unabled to accept - button freezes if healer ress you once more.
Even if i change resolution to 600x400 - three ps2 was too much for overcloaked i2500k (4.5 GHz).
This game is realy cpu hungry ...
I started today other script. Give only about 50 certs/h but is realy simple.
You get enginer as main char. And just drop ammo (exp gain from only amo).
You get one mule that is in squad, and one outside.
Each of them shoot one buller and reload - and do it in loop. Once in 10 shoots they move into wall (if you dont make movements - system will autokick you after some time).
Ammo droper need to step forward and back and drop ammo.
But there are some problems...
If you have two people in squad reolading - they may give max 360 xp, if you have them separated (one insiade squad, one not) limit is bigger.
But some times there is no limit (and you can get even 15k xp /h).
ps. windowed mode 600x400, 0.1 render rate, no shadows and everything on 1, plus render distance on 50 - still freezes on wmware. I dont even know hot its posible to publish so unoptimized game ... on this res its look like minecraft and still freeze...
Use sandboxie and not VMware. It uses far less resources.
I'd be happy to farm certs with anyone. Add me in-game and send me a message. IGN: DardarFishcake
What macro program are you guys using? I've tried macro express and it causes one of the PS2 instances to stop responding. I can do the cert farming manually...but I'd rather get a macro going.
looking for some people to do this a lot tomorrow on any servers as long as we help each other, its DOUBLE XP WEEKEND.
my main is on Mattheus but once again i figure we can do it on any server for each other.
message me on here or hit me up on skype: Haldimdaboss
just got my account banned for this
Never used macros.
I managed to pull this off for several hours on double XP weekend. At the time, I remember admins actually saying they were present on the server and were scouting for hackers and cheaters.
Anyway, if you're still interested in pulling this off it's important you do it some where far away. We usually picked a secluded area near the edge of the map, often a hexagon that had nothing around it. On the top right when you kill someone it reports it to what we concluded was only the general hexagon you're in, we could be wrong but it was useful to see if anyone was lurking around that might catch us.
The reviver should eventually upgrade the medic gun, speeds up this process quite a bit but also requires you to pay close attention. If you start reviving the second the mule account is killed it isn't too uncommon for it to de-spawn. Instead, you should wait until it hits the ground. Other problems we ran into were the mule account becoming immortal to the shooter and the shooter having to re-log, we couldn't quite figure that one out.
Last, we tried seeing if MAX's were worth killing and found that while it seemed that you got an increase in kill XP (reward for killing a max) it didn't make up for the amount of shots it takes to kill one again (so killing a MAX in our case yielded slower results) Make sure your shooter is always using the same gun! Getting medals for guns rewards certs along the way!
Hey all,
I actually figured this out myself, been using it for at least a week, with several accounts. Wanted to look around and see if other people were doing it (it's so simple I'd be surprised if I was the only one :P)
What I'm wondering about is if anyone here got banned for it. I just see one person saying he was. I'm inclined to believe either he may have been banned for some other exploit perhaps? Because I farmed at least 6000-7000 (double that if you count the certs gained with the slave accounts) with this method. I even left the computers open overnight one day, and it ran for 12 hours straight.
Batch, what kind of setup were you using? one engineer, one medic, two victims?
There are 7 pages of responses, and only one person got banned for this? Doesn't seem likely. What do you guys think?
