Real guide towards 2k+ up per hour

Attention: You need a lot of patience, if you arent, dont bother trying:

    Written on the server Terenas

What do you need at least:
    * Fishing (375, or level it for this guide)
    * Flying mount (60% or faster)
    * Track Fish (A need for goldaimed fishers, can be aquired from boxes you can fish on multiple locations: The best dropplace is STV)

What comes in handy with it:
    * Cooking
    * Enchanting
    * Tailoring (only if you farm netherweave as well, thats not included in this guide)

    Here it goes:
Fish your way up to 375, this takes a tremendous lot of time, thats why i said, be patience.
Enchanting on 300+ and tailoring on 370+ is also an recommendation. Why? I tell later in this guide

What do you need to get:
Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole - Item - World of Warcraft (Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole: +20 fishing)
if your horde: Nat Pagle's Extreme Angler FC-5000 - Item - World of Warcraft (
    Nat Pagle's Extreme Angler FC-5000: +25 fishing)
    +2 fishing enchant on gloves.
if your lucky from dailies: +3 enchant line on the Fishing Pole.
+ 100 fishing temp enchant (Sharp hook, or the engineered one)
Captain Rumsey's Lager - Spell - World of Warcraft (
Captain Rumsey's Lager: +10 fishing for 3 mins, each craft gives 5 items).
With this you should have a pushed Fishing of 510 - 515.

From this part on you can either use a fishing bot or not, depending on where you wish to fish. If you wish to follow this guide, then i would recommend not using a bot.

Here is the trick: When you fish Highland school mix you got a chance on:
    * Golden darter (0.6 aprox each pool)
    * Furious Crawdad (2.0 aprox each pool)
    * Greens and blues, lockboxes etc (0.5 each, hence why i said, have enchanting)

When you farm about 10 hours, you should have around (This is tested on my shaman, and he is 375 fishing, but has 290% flying mount (10% extra from trinket)) . Make sure IF your enchanter to DE all green, as engineer use repairbots to sell the damn greens, your bags will be stacking. I got personally 4x 22 slot bags, and even i am running out of space sometimes.
    * Furious crawdad, 817 pieces, stacked up 10 per stack, each 20g (or in stacks of 20 35g) worth per stack (1634g total i went wrong here)
    * Golden darter, 253 stacks, each 30g worth per stack (7590g total)
    * Counted Greens by Loot Counter: 538. These either sell between 2g to 8g, taking the least ammount of gold for the sale: 1076g, but calculate around 2000g as you will sell them for commonly (mostly leather, mail or plate) for 4g each.
    * Counted Blues by Loot Counter: 161. These either sell between 4g to 10g, if you trash sell it, you will earn about 400-800g, yet if you put it on ah, and sell it actually it can earn you a lot of more.
    * Counted Epics by Loot Counter: 3. These either sell for vendor for 10-40g, but these arent worth to vendor, but worth to AH, each sold for 750g+
*Mote of water: 212 (21 primals, 2 motes, each primal 40g worth)
    840g
    Combined together:
well over 20K gold, i had enought gold to buy my warrior and hunter an epic flying as wel, if i didnt spend it on getting loads of epics for my chars, but thats beside the point.

Ok, now you know what you can earn within 10 hours, here are the farm spots:
Lake Jorune, thats just above Stonebreaker hold.
Lake Ere'noru, thats just above Alerian Stronghold.
Blackwing Lake, thats in skettis. BE AWARE, Elites and waterelementals are here. Altho the waterelementals gives also mote of water, so their pretty plesent to kill (they also drop greys that sell for 9s+ and they are stacking up pretty quick)

Just keep those 3 farming spots in mind, fly over with track fish on, and fish the pools that are being tracked. (For the skettis part, the waterwalking elixer might come handy, not to be attacked by elite trees).

    Green/Blues gear drops:
As i stated you can just either vendor or AH them.
-- Following part is for enchanters only --
Altho that wont be as rewarding as disenchanting them
Sell the Large Prismatic shards and the void shards (1% chance) on ah, keep the Arcane Dust yourself for the following reason:
-- Only if your tailor --
Arcanoweave Bracers - Item - World of Warcraft.
12 arcane dust sells for 12g, BUT large prismatic shards, depends on what day you sell it, sells between 20-30g, so much more rewarding.
And you got a chance a void crystal pops out of it, which sells for 40-60g depending when you sale it.

If you done it properly, and you got the patience(Believe me, fishing is extremely boring, but it IS the most rewarding profession), then you will have earned now:
16270 Gold. The exact ammount i earned after 10 hours farming was 27814g, this was due i had a few good selling greens, and 3 epics that sold for 750+ gold (the ones i gained was 1750, 2000g and 1350g), and as im engineer/alchemist, i had to sell greens, and buy some mats for repairbot G110.

I hope this guide works for you guys as well, and again: if you dont got the patience, dont try this at home

This guide fails bigtime.. ill sum up some math for you

    * Furious crawdad, 817 pieces, each 20g worth per stack (16340g total)
    * Golden darter, 253 pieces, each 30g worth per stack (7590g total)

Ok first of all.. you say "817 pieces" does that mean 817 stacks? because there is NO WAY you could have farmed 817 stacks of Furious crawdad in 10 hours. your math is based on 817 pieces x 20g each stack.. thats wrong dude.. you have to do 817 pieces / 20 in a stack -> making it 817g for 817 pieces(or 817g for 40 stacks) . if you had fished 817 stacks in 10 hours that would mean that you fished 16340 fishes.. there is no way you could have done that.

And for the golden darter, the same.. you fished 253 pieces.. each worth 30g a stack. Thats 253/20 = 12.65 stacks.. x 30g each stack = 379 gold.

    srsly you fail!

btw: on a normal day at work i will earn about 200$... that would give me 10k gold on a gold site.. so.. id rather work 7,5 hour and get 10k gold.. rather than following this guide and get about 1200g :P

    Okey, As im getting wisps:
You can easily get 300 in your main city, this is due its not contested on the area you fish but rather an formula is behind it:
Fishes to catch = (Current unenchanted fishing level-75) / 25, but with a minimum of 1 fish to catch. So from 75 to 76 would cost you 2 fishes, while the folowing on that are 1. And this way its getting harder each step.
I will not create an guide for that: i rather would let you use: El's Extreme Anglin' - WoW Fishing Guide
Also an nice guide to earn 600g while leveling your fishing up.
    Good Luck

    you fail!
1st of all i do not fail, yet i agree i made a mistake with posting the wrong parse data, I will correct this within the following week. Yet again, how can i be mistaken in the ammount of money that i had on my shaman.
Next time please be more mature, or dont comment at all if you cannot comment nicely.

There is still no way you could have farmed almost 30k gold in 10 hours. from fishing

You didnt correct the darter one ^^

edit: you just added stacks behind 253.. there is still no way you could have fished 253 stacks in 10 hours.. even with a bot or by yourself.

O yes i did correct, look at it, as you fish darters from normal water as well, and if you cannot find pools you just fish, I didnt even post what other fish you can farm. With 510 pushed fishing you can fish over 7200 fish per 10 hours, that is that you can bot yourself and urge to fish every 5 second of those damn 10 hours.
Using a keyboard of mouse that got g15 technology is very usefull as well, you hotmark fishing and you fish, you will get a nibble every 3-10 seconds, but hey, why dont you try it yourself before trapping a good gold guide, which Cannot ban you from wow, into the ground? Or arent you patience enought, and you just buy the gold from goldsellers?
