So I tried pulling the d3 folder into my VM and I get this message

"Cannot scan local directory. You might not have permission to perform the operation."

Running with windows 7 on my main and xp on VMWare, dont know if that the problem

You have to put it over programs files folder 1st.

vmware can't scan over program files folder.
u copy paste on your desktop for example, than drag and drop to the virtual machine

Thank, workin now. It very laggy tho, dunno if I've ditribude enough cpu power and ram. Where can I do that? :P

im having issues, got my vmware running with windows 7, diablo 3 runs flawlessly, but for somereason my script can no longer find the buttons?
it just sits there and i get messages saying that it cant find old ruins cant find new trist
any clue how to resolve this?
ive moves the pics over, made a fresh install of autoit
i did move the original script over, do i need to remake the script?

EDIT: i forgot to do the dlls and such that comes with bot files, ill do that and get back mabey solve my problem.

Yeh so i guess you can't run multiply VMS on one computer as they would all have same IP = BAN.. oh well.

Of course you can - Just use a VPN on each VMS.

This is a great concept however will not work for most laptops...My 2.5 ghz I3 with intel media graphics can run diablo 3 on med graphics pretty decent. When I installed and tried every combination it was the greatest lag fest I have seen. I do think this is because of integrated over a real video card. I will be testing this later on with a AMD Fusion chip set to see if it works on that however I have a feeling this two will come up short. Less your laptop as a dedicated graphics card, which some do, this will not work.

i manage to run the bot on my system you just need a decent specs to run the d3 smoothly with no delay and lags lol

Hey LATM,

What resolution are you running in? Just read your edit in the first post and you said you can use lower resolutions.

Just tried running at a much lower 16:9 resolution but the script didn't work. I could probably get it to work if I made my own PNG's, is that what you had to do?

i've 4go ram on my computer, and 1.5 is allowed to Vmware, and work perfectely, no lag when playing on my "main" computer and Diablo in the Vmware

Actually I don't think they will ban you if multiple accounts are connected through the same IP Address. Most people share internet all the time and especially lan parties or in cyber cafes. I am not very advanced in Networking but I am sure running multiple accounts from the same IP Address shouldn't get you banned at all.

so i did get it working yesterday, it was running smooth.
before i went to sleep i shut off the vmware
i turn it on this morning, and the script wont do anything. its really making me sadface.
i wish it would just work, on a constant basis.

EDIT: reinstalling the script right now we will see what happens.

yeah i guess ill just never close vmware again, i dont feel like resetting up the script every time.

Quick question - I'm trying to optimize my VM experience and just want to check if I'm missing anything.
(Hardware is i-2700k, 32g ram, slow 7200rpm hard drives though)

Going through the thread, here are the suggestions I found:
* Install vmtools
* Turn down all the graphics settings on d3 (doh!)
* Set max fps to 40
* Set ram to 3gb?
* Set cores to...1?
Is that about it?

I have an additional q, I currently have 3 vm's running 5 copies of d3 total, (planning to expand this to 4 vm's and 8 copies of d3 total), each d3 in a separate folder because whenever I launch 2 copies of D3 from the same installation folder, it doesn't work. Is there a way to optimize this? I've 'cloned' all of my vm's but somebody in a diff thread suggest linking them. Does 'linking' work for 2+ vm's? Obviously that'd be preferable due to hd space.
