The value of life per hit alone almost makes the monk a tank/DPS powerhouse so with two gems like that in weaps at that level, wow!

One thing though, it really isn't worth it to go crazy and pester yourself with this at lvl 15 when you can, with no gear at all do the leorics manor spam to lvl 19 or so, getting a level up every 5 to 8 min. Thus saving you money for potentially better gear around the levels 18-20.

Same can be done in nightmare at leorics manor getting levels pretty much every 5 min or so by going there early at nightmare, being act1 mobs are obviously easier than whimsyshire, so for the people struggling mixing this guide with doing leorics manor really can be some speedy leveling at less of a cost than doing whimsyshire only.
You really didn't read it all did you ? at lvl 15 a run gives 3 levels, at lvl 25 a run gives 3.5. I bought gear at 15 and again at 26 so I can't say I really spent any money. At lvl 15 I spent like 30-40k gold, at 26 like 100-150k, which is a joke if you have a lvl 60 chars which you do if you're reading guide on how to level an alt.

I've leveled 3 toons (monk, wizard and DH) this way and I confirm it's perfectly doable even for melee classes. NM at lvl 25 IS also doable, but just not worth it cause the progression is too slow, there's faster ways. Level to 28-30 then give it a try.

People calling OP a troll simply do not have the skills to do it, no gear in the world will help them.

Thanks a lot for the positive input, I'm only not sure what you mean by "just not worth it cause the progressions is too slow". My first run on the pony lvl at 25 gave me 3 and a half levels

I rarely post but I will give it a go

I tried this method with 3 characters a monk, a wizard and a demon hunter and my experience is as follows:
Monk - Wizard: low level with a small array of possible builds proved nigh impossible for me (should be possible in a couple of levels)
Demon Hunter: at level 13 with decent gear and after a few failed attempts with whimsy builds I managed to start killing things in a respectable speed to make i viable. By level 15 (when I upgraded my gear in favour of speed) everything including rare spawns where a breeze. Come level 25 I went straight to NM (soloed diablo easily but cheesed my way directly to him after Act1) with another gear upgrade and about 1,700 dps the mobs melted and the speed is awesome. But I am having some problems with some elite pack combos (mortar/teleport), I believe that is every glass cannon's problem

So anyway thanks for pointing out this awesome way of leveling and to the nonbelievers... try harder!!!

Btw could you post the starting point of the build you used with your monk at level 15 (with or without gear stat choises)

Thanks for the positive comment, really appreciate it. Don't remember what I used at lvl 15, let me see if I kept screens.

You can indeed use this to boost a friend but this is a solo leveling guide. If you are more than one person Belial runs would be a faster way to level.

Seeing how many ways to level got nerfed and I still don't see another solo level method, at least not as efficient as this one I think it's not a bad idea to bump the thread. It's still working, just did it a test run on a lvl 33 char.

I have no godamn idea how people manage to solo this at the levels they say in this thread? Raremobs have ~300k hp in Hell, and with my wizard having 3k dps unbuffed, there's no way in hell I can deal with them before I am out of defensive CDs.

It's been a long long time since I leveled t he last wizard but 3k dps sounds way too low. What's your weapon ?
